Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv City Center

We stay in this hotel with my wife and daughter for 4 days. Nice and friendly staff, new building, clean new rooms, outstanding breakfast, quiet and great location. I just find that $70- for the third person is overpriced.

Unfortunately, we only had one limited night in this hotel. However, the hotel is ultra modern, clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are very generous and there are some great restaraunts in walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is in a mega-complex, so it can be difficult to nagivate through/too, but that is the only small shortcoming. From what limited time I had in Tel Aviv, I did love this city and the people. I'd want to go back for more activities!

I stayed here with my family using my priority points. I was immediately upgraded to a room 2 levels higher (studio) and because the management (Tomer, Ludwig) felt sorry us that the gym wouldn't allow us in with our baby (in the stoller), they gave us 2 free movie tickets - the movie theater is right in the mall, connected to the hotel. The movie theater did let us in with the baby! Besides this we were given all kinds of extra's (chocolates, cookies, fruits and wine if we had wanted to). This hotel has excellent service by Israeli standards. (As an example, the hotel I stayed at in Jerusalem forgot to deliver my breakfast and when I called to inquire, they asked "So? What do you want now?") Breakfast orders arrived fast though selection was limited, and the buffet on the 11th floor was excellent. Modern, well designed and clean hotel, which is unusual for Tel Aviv. Comfortable room (studio room, larger than standard), large bathroom with great view and separate shower. Excellent breakfast buffet, but there should be more fresh fruit. Guests have access to the Holmes Place sports club, with very good facilities (fitness, spa, large indoor pool). UPS - Nice room with modern design and views. Our family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights - we had 2 beautiful rooms, spacious & very clean. This hotel is so new that taxi drivers regularly confuse it with the other Crowne Plaza that's near the beach. I can't say enough good things about the rooms & bathrooms! The new Crowne Plaza City Center is a professional, low-key business hotel, with very comfortable rooms (although free wifi would be a nice addition for their clientele). The hotel is located in one of the three impressive Azrieli Towers on the 11-23 floors (of 50 or so). My upgraded studio room was well decorated (clean, modern look) and faced west, which made for ultra modern views of the other towers. I am a very regular guest to Tel Aviv hotels (around 8 nights per month) and have tried all the 5 star hotels such as Intercontinental, Dan and Hilton. However, this new addition to Crowne Plaza is a level above in my opinion. As mentionned in previous review, the entrance and location is a little bit outside main attractions and next to the big highway. However, the rooms are on high floors and have tremendous views. A new hotel just open in May 08, situated within the new Azrieli Center which is a shopping mall and sports center up to the 10th floor, with the Crowne Plaza from floor 11 upwards. Hotel reception is on ground next to the mall underground car park entrance. This confuses taxi drivers who will argue there's no hotel there, despite the tower rising up with Crowne Plaza in big red letters on top.
