Jurys Inn Brighton

I agree with a lot of the points made by Dadikins, A good hotel and location. The hotel has only been open since February 2008,so still very new. We stayed in a triple room,which was well proportioned for three people. The reception staff were pleasant. The hotel appeared to have people gearing themselves up for hen/stag nights, but there was no noise at all during the night,so well done there! Another great stay whilst on a business trip in Brighton. Room was spotlessly clean and as it was a corner room, slightly larger than most. As previously I cannot fault the location and will use this Jurys again on my next trip.

We paid £69.00 for the night at this hotel, It appears to be fairly new so everything worked well and was relatively clean (not spotless but clean) The breakfast wasn't great but a reasonable start to the day, to be fair at £69.00 we weren't really expecting too much. Service was as you would expect in a corporate hotel efficent but nothing more. I would stay again as the hotel is good value

Fri - Sun Weekend break for wife (57) and I (59). Hotel interior modern clean and comfortable. Bedroom good size with air con. Excellent breakfast. Hotel is a 5 min walk from the North lanes, 2 min from railway station and 10 min from town centre. No 7 bus from station takes you to Brighton Marina where there are shops and a good selection of restaurants. I read some of the Trip advisor reviews and was a little put off by them, but we went anyway. We stayed for one night during the week £79 room only. It is a new hotel and is clean and tidy, the check in was busy but without delays. The staffs were all helpful Room was very nice with a good shower/bath, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast was fine £7.50p eat as much as you like. Car parking is easy with the Railway Station car park opposite £10 for 24hrs. We will stay again

Stayed here with other family members for two nights for a wedding in Brighton. Relatively new hotel which seems to cater extensively for hen parties. Rooms are standard small boxes but the doors were noisy when closed - always slammed shut. Handy for station if you have come by train and close to the centre of Brighton so all attractions easily accessible. Car parking was in station car park at £10 for 24 hours. Initially, we booked our room through booking.com for £89 a room, but then we called the hotel directly and got it for £79. We stayed on the top floor, and were presented with excellent views over Brighton. The rooms were clean and bright, and the en suite was really nice too. To cut a long story short: hotel is brand new, rooms are box standard 3*, but still relatively clean. Hotel lobby looks like the cheap and sterile version of what wanted to be stylish originally. From the outside the Jurys Inn looks very smart. Very close to the station so very handy for arrival. Check in a slightly comical affair with the trainee receptionist trying to pre authorise £1500 for a one night stay. When questioning the figure she screamed at me 'we do take a deposit you know' when I pointe out that £1500 seemed a lot she calmed down and admited it should be £150 (still a lot for a one night stay already paid for!) My friend booked this hotel for a weekend trip to Brighton. This hotel was completely full of Hens & Stag do parties which was a little frightening if not entertaining. My concern with the hotel is that every guest floor smelt overwhelmingly of vomit which brought tears to my eyes. I called recpetion to remedy the issue but nothing appeared to have been done.
