Ramada Encore Warrington

The hotel overall is very clean, minimalistic but with of a high standard throughout, but the cost of £110 B&B rate seemed a little steep especially when you have to pay extra for wifi and there are no liesure facilities. The hotel is the only hotel on a huge business park and there is no other hotel for a few miles which meant that is was full of business guests. Food in the restaurant was simple but good.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights this week and I found it to be the best hotel for business travellers yet encountered. Front desk were very welcoming and pointed out the business facilities available, particularly free wi-fi in the bar and restaurant. The room was most pleasant, very modern, good desk with excellent lighting. Great wet-room with excellent shower.Choice of food was very good with a 3 course meal , with choices, at only £17.95. I stayed for 2 nights 22 and 23 sept. Firstly the hotel is modern and clean, can fault that. However the price is far too high for both the room and the food. Room first, the room is an updated monks cells, no wardrobe, no drawers just a hanging rail. A faint smell of sewage when entering the toilet which disappeared when the shower was used, did return mnext day. A decent size TV but in this era of Freeview very limited TV channels, 7 think. Stayed in this hotel on a Friday night and the hotel seemed busy. I requested a quiet room, but got far from that. Got a room on the 1st floor overlooking the hotel entance and the car park. Was woken up at 6.30am by people leaving their rooms by the slamming doors. The pillow was very lumpy. On the plus side, it was clean, pleasant staff and modern.

My husband and I stayed at the Ramada, Encore, Warrington whilst visiting family who live a few minutes away. This was a last minute booking and we managed to stay for £33.12..... fantastic value. Breakfast costs about £10 regardless to how much you eat so that could work out a little expensive. We are going back again in October but are having to pay £50.15 as its a weekday visit instead of a weekend visit, this hotel is located on a business park so understandable I guess. Stayed here for one night to visit family who live 5 minutes away - so location was good for us but I can imagine if you stay here to visit the centre of Warrington it might be a bit far out but it looks more like a hotel to stay in when you are on business anyway. As we booked a couple of weeks before we only paid £39 for a double room - I think that was excellent value as we were out most of the time and only needed somewhere to sleep. Rooms are basic, clean and clinical. No wardrobe as they have open hangers no shelves or draw space at all which is real pain as you have to live out of a suitcase Restaurant is completely over prices, £12-13 for a burger or fish and chips; 4 star prices but catering quality. However only a 5 minute walk away opposite the Station is a bangladeshi restaurant. Efficients staff, very nice room with flat screen TV and wet room style shower room. All very nice. Who designed the shower room - can they come and do mine ? Located 10 mins from Gullivers World.

We went as a last minute booking and I have to say the staff fell over themselves to help us. The room was comfortable and quiet and we had dinner 5 mins away as suggested by a member of staff. I would highly recommend it, and wouldnt hesitate to go back,

This was a surprise I booked and had read some off putting reviews, what a surprise. From the moment I arrived i was greeted by friendly staff, the room was big and immaculate and the shower super. It took me 10 minutes to get to the very centre of Warrington the next mornng and was close to the M6 so handy if you are breaking up the journey. the breakfast was substanial and check out a breeze. I'll definatly be back.

I was slightly dreading staying here as thought it would just be a travelodge type place, but was pleasantly surprised. I was staying with several colleagues, and although the location means it is far away from anything else, it was perfect for our meeting on the business park the next day.
