Fairmont Bab Al Bahr

Been staying at the hotel for 1 night. Asked for a room service food but delivered after ONE HOUR! Terrible. Wish I had stayed at another hotel that time. The internet servide is very poor also. Worthless. Already complaint to front office staff but it seems that it will not be resolved till now! Bob Michigan

Superb service and amenities! Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at the hotel who are very well trained and deal with all queries efficiently. The hotel has only just opened ( 4 months ago). and everyhting is extremely well planned and appointed. Our room - a delux double was huge. The bed was extremely confortable - super king. Stayed for a 4 night break away from foul British weather and did'nt regret hotel choice at all. I am sometimes nervous of recently opened hotels but the earlier reviews posted are totally accurate. This is a superb property and all aspects of the hotel are amazing - room decor, hotel look, service, food - you name it they just just about got it right. My sister and I had a weekend get-away at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr recently. It was the first time we stayed there, but certainly not the last - we're hooked! The hotel is elegant, with some funky features - such at the ceiling in the lobby changing colour every so often! The interior is modern, understated, calming and spacious. The staff is very well trained, helpful and pleasant. They were all happy to show us around the hotel, or take us to the restaurant we wanted to go to - as opposed to just giving directions. We got an excellent rate via Fairmont President Club as an opening offer. The Fairmont Bab Al Bahr is just as wonderful as the other Fairmont properties we stayed at. Hotel has a private beach which my 3 year old daughter loved. We got very personalized service. They sent us bottles of water on ice while we lazed at the beach. Staff were very friendly. Room Decor was gorgeous. We got a room facing the water and the bathtub overlooks the beach. Can even see the big mosque on a clear day. Only thing is the location is about 20 mins... more

The Fairmont Bab al Bahr is like a Class A boutique hotel, writ large. It's a really tasty alternative to the breathtaking Yas Hotel, albeit in an entirely different location, and could not be more different from, say, the Emirates Palace. It’s bling-free beauty but with scale; the ceiling height and style in the lobby is tremendous. I think this is one of the best hotels i stayed in ABUDHABI.It is clear that the management has spent time and effort to train it's staff the fine art of hospitality.I can only say CONGRATULATIONS.I will come back to this hotel next january with my wife.

I stayed in a beautiful fairmont gold room which also gave complimentary access to the gold executive club floor and I would highly recommend this. The room was large with floor to ceiling glass, a business desk, sofa area and nice bathroom area (although the opaque glass in the bathroom does mean you need to feel comfortable with whom you share with!). Sadly i was staying in this hotel for business purposes so i didnt get the fully relaxing experience which this hotel would be perfect for. Decor is stunning and the rooms are lovely and plush. The bed is so comfortable you feel you could stay in it forever! Staff are extremely attentive and the breakfast and evening buffets in Elements restaurant are delicious and fresh with a huge variety of food. I had an overnight flight from Abu Dhabi-Toronto, and had the pelasure of staying at the Brand New Fairmont in Abu Dhabi. I was on the 4th floor, and was told that the floor had only opened up for reservations the night before. When I walked in to the lobby, I was stunned by the elegance of it. Absolutely gorgeous. The reception staff were very courteous and helped me check in as quick as possible. I was then escorted to my room and explained the room facilities briefly.
