Just back from staying at this hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and sheets changed every day, the pools and beach were lovely as were the grounds, plenty of space to move your sunbeds around and no fighting to get one. I'm a fussy eater but certainly didn't starve, they are catering for other nationalities other than British. I did find the people trying to sell manicures, massages annoying, maybe they could issue a flag to put on on your sunbed to indicate your not interested.
Trips booked through MTS were reasonable, the glass bottom boat was great, quad biking fantastic, helmets provided but take a scarf for the dust, SOHO Square is well worth a visit and all fixed prices, but the city tour was a let down spending 2 hours of the trip picking up from various hotels.
Have been back 4 days and I'm planning to go back in Feb to this hotel.
You get what you pay for, if you want the Ritz, book the Ritz. If you want a great holiday at a great price you can't go wrong here.

We were greeted by an irate woman telling us to get back on the transfer coach as quickly as possible. Looking round reception and the smiling faces of staff made you think she was just looking for trouble but get to your room and you see instantly why she was making these statements. Our room was smelly, dirty and all the furniture was needing repair. We had had a flight delay and time was getting on so we decided to try the restaurant before it closed. What a shock to find that dishes are not replensihed when they run out and not a lot left to eat at 9 o'clock. the restaurant being open to till 10pm was not doing well. Giving up on the food idea we turned our attention to the bar but another disappointment greeted us here as there are no cocktails at this hotel and we found only watered down wine or soft drinks or some disgusting tasting alcohol.
In the 7 days of our stay we only had 4 decent meals and would only give a rating of 2 star (at a push)
The beach is lovely and the pool looks good but as nowhere is cleaned we only trusted the beach to swim in the sea. What happened to any housekeeping art, as we had seen on reviews, we don't know. We were lucky if we got the beds made.
Beware also because at about 6pm every evening they come round with a mosquito spray machine that smells like sitting in a pool of diesel and leaves you unable to breath for nearly an hour.
If we go back to Sharm we would never use this hotel again.
We are going to try Hergarda in January so are keeping fingers crossed for a better deal then.

When we first arrived we found the place to be nice and the reception staff were ok. We were shown to our rooms which yes could do with updating but nothing to moan to much about as we were only planning on being in the rooms to sleep, shower n change!
Anyway as we arrived quite late we headed to the pool bar for a couple of drinks. As we had been all inclusive in other hotels in Sharm i was quite keen to try some cocktails but we soon found out that that was going to be impossible here. The alcohol was awful, the only thing drinkable was the beer at a push, even the soft drinks were watered down and the majority of the time warm!!
There was however the choice to pay for nicer cocktails at the cocktail/crepe/ice cream bar called Go Crepe which we did pay for one night but after being told by one of the staff members that drinks there were imported and would taste far better than at the bar we found out that they were in fact the same alcohol as we could get for free from the bar! We also heard from a few of the other guests that the owner/manager of this bar was the son of the owner but when we saw him he didn't look or act one for a start he looked very young, maybe 17 or 18, especially after one occasion when he was talking to a family, who we got to know during our stay, who went to a party that HE arranged and they were not happy with the fact that they got told drinks would be imported, beer would be included in the all inclusive ticket but all of this wasn't true, when they asked him for their money back he started to shout and argue with them and shouting that he was the owner and he would kick them out of the hotel, he later sent a member of staff to find out their room number, which they never gave! This just shows that this hotel needs real management and to be run by somebody with experience not an 18 year old boy.
On the upside, the majority of the staff we extremely friendly and even though they work long hours they were always smiling :)
The rooms were cleaned and towels changed daily thanks to the lovely housekeeper!
Yes the sales people around the pool were quite annoying but if u just said no thankyou to them they would leave u alone, at the end of the day they are just doing their jobs!
The entertainment team around the pool during the day were great people doing different activities like stretching, water volleyball, aqua gym, table tennis and would always come and say hello whenever they were walkin around even if u didnt want to join in the activities.
The food in the restaurant was very basic, but edible, we got a decent meal every night and they even had themed nights such as mexican, egyptian, italian. We did however for one night have a McDonalds delivered...come on how can u be in egypt and not make use of a mcdonalds bein delivered!!
On a night time the entertainment team did put on a show, we saw a mr hotel competition which was quite funny especially the russian men that took part! They even had a dance and comedy show one night, the comedy is not what u would expect but they stil had every1 laughing. The entertainment team also arrange nights out into naama bay to Pacha...which is just amazing on a sunday as its RNB night, they look after u all the way there, whilst your there and also on the way back to ensure u get back to the hotel so defintely book a night out with them!!
Also there was no mini zoo like advertised but we werent too fussed about that.
Anyway, i would say if u want an extremely basic holiday with disgusting drinks then come here, otherwise go and stay somewhere else!

Please please be leave the reviews that you are readind. They say its a 5* hotel. I wouldn't even rate it a 3*. The food was disguesting. You have to eat out ever night to get a hot meal They tell you the bottle water is freash and clean whan all they do is use there tap water. When you say some think to the staff all they do is laugh and make you look small. Dont book all inclousve cause it aint you have to pay for (pizza's,chips, ice cream) All they want is your money nothink else they dont care who or what you are if you have disabilty or not. All they do is look after there own. The only thing that is 5* is the sun

We stayed here and had a good time but its not 5 star I would suggest only 3 star at best
The main bad points to be aware of are the booze is disgusting just as well take your own and the entertainment program is either non existent or when they do try its like watching a grouop of 11 year olds at the school play, but the worst thing is being pestered all day long around the pool for shaves, massages, trips etc and yes the travel reps are just as bad trying to get you to take excursions all the time the rooms are OK but bathrooms very average.
The good points are lovely location great snorkelling nice beach and best of all is Chico who will organise a great day out in a boat (he delivers all that he promises for a great affordable trip.
The staff are also great cleaners try really hard and everybody does there best to look after you with what little tools thay have available.
Personally I think the hotel has enjoyed good times in the past but is obviously cutting so many costs now it's impacting on them providing the holiday that you expect.

We have just returned from Hauza Beah and had a great holiday.
As for the comments on here some are ridiculous. Yes we got tummy bugs bugs but we were in Egypt so expected to and took medications with us and coped, but they weren't caused by bad hygeine as everything was cleaned. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful, taking time out to talk and remembering us. The glasses were small, but you can use your own. Towels are changed daily if required and rooms cleaned. It is not like a 5* in Europe, but its not a 5* price either. The food is plentyful and mostly enjoyable, but they do have to try to please many different races and religions so sometimes the choice of food you like may be a bit limited. Unless you are a fussy eater you will find something every mealtime you like. The cleaners work very hard and will redo anything you are not happy with. The bathroom needs updating, but is clean. All in all we got a good holiday for the price and loved every minute of it.

Im not quite sure if i went to the same hotel as all the people complaining but i thought it was great. after reading the reviews i was worried about going to this hotel especially since we had booked 14 days. but once i was there i was so glad that i had booked and at the end of the 14 days i didn't want to leave
Me and my boyfriend (both 21) went to this hotel and we loved it. We got to the hotel late at night and was welcomed by the polite staff who took both us and our luggage to our rooms on a car van thing.
we then went to the bar which was serving food despite it being so late at night.
breakfast was great, the was a huge choice, although there wasnt the typically english breakfast (but we weren't in england!!) so was glad to try something different.
lunch and dinner had a a big choice and if your not a fussy eater and are willing to try new things there is enough choices for the time we were there which was 14 days. there was a man who made pasta dishes were you could pick your own ingredients and i thought that was a nice touch.
the pools there were cold admittedly, however i felt this was very refreshing considering the heat in sharm. i loved the jungle pool as did my boyfriend and we spent alot of time in these pools because we loved the slides.
the beach on the hotel was lovely and we also spent alot of time there. the sunbeds were free to use which is also great as many hotels charge you for use of them on the beach.
there was a shuttle bus everyday which went into the town center where all the shops were and this was cheap enough to use.
overall i thought this holiday was great, the entertainment was good and the hotel was great value for money.
although i wont be visiting Egypt again because i like to try different places each time, i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is considering going to sharm.
- Advice: go on some of the excursions because its worth the money. we went on the boat trips and the quad biking

My husband and I have just returned from Hauza Beach, I have never written a review before but strongly feel other holiday makers should be prepared. We are gled we only stayed a week. Be warned 'tummy bug' is part of this all inclusive holiday
Overall to summarise
The beer is good
The location is paradise
The snorkelling at the end of the pier is fabulous
The pizza's on the beach are really tasty
The cleaning staff work hard and are very friendly
The bar staff, entertainment team and waiters are great
The pools are lovely
The weather very hot
Room very large and satisfactory
Plenty of cake
Pasta, meatballs and omelettes tasty
Good pharmacist for tummy bug drugs (take extra cash for this though about £15 pp)
Snorkelling boating trip excellent-highly recomend
The areas that need improvement are;
All inclusive spirits - they are disgusting
No ice cream - you have to pay extra
Food in the restaurant- Poor selection of fresh fruit, veg and salad. Meat/fish awful
Drink making facilities in rooms needed
Bathroom-no way 5* more like 2*
Constant pestering for shave, pedicure, massage etc
Indian meal -poor service unless you like all your courses served in 15 minutes
Standard of cleaning methods and hygiene-every where looks ok but poor technique -no wonder the tummy bug is so rampant
- Good For: Beach
- Board Basis:All Inclusive
- Tour Operator:Booked Independently

Just got back from Egypt - Hauza beach resort, I would like to settle your doubts about this hotel, don't confused by the advertisment it's not a 4* star hotel, hotel rated themselves as four star as it's no where near four stars 2-3* max. Rooms were tidy, had couple issues with toilets, like water didn't flush, but once reported to staff it has been sorted, no problems. Like mentioned I totally enjoyd my holiday, pool and beach were great, very friendly staff, will always say hello and smile to you. Big thank you to animation team, they did great job, kept us entertained and fit, all daily activities were great fun. The only downside of this hotel was food, if you love to have nice dinner and supper so this hotel won't be for you. Choice of food wasn't big, used cheapest igrediants as possibly could, dry salats... If you planning holiday to Egypt stock up with your own drinks as their local booze is disgusting. Overall we got what we paid for so I can't complain any more.

I honestly don't know why ppl are complaining! The food was good, with a wide variety to suit everyone, the staff are friendly and helpful, they always say hello and have a smile. The rooms are cleaned daily, fresh sheets and towels. The pool is treated everyday morning, and pool areas are clean, and the sunbeds are comfy. Yes sometimes the drinks are served in small plastic cups, but if u get a decent sized one, just keep it and get it refilled (it's not rocket science!) All in all we had a brill time and would defo recommend ppl to go.
Thanks very much for your comments and recommendation! Our aim is to please all guests on their hard-earned holidays and we are delighted that you enjoyed yourself so much. We especially appreciate your kind comments regarding our staff. We hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back again soon. All best wishes from the Hauza Team!

We came home today, after 7days (4 days confined to the bedroom with severe food poisoning)I consider myself to be a tough old boy, with the constitution of an ox. Prior to retirement,I was in worldwide export, often living in the most primitive places on earth.Until now, over a 40 year period, only once did I end up food poisoning. For me the issue is simple,It is very bad hygiene, for example the rats that I saw running in and out of the kitchen. On my last day I met a wedding party,6 off whom had also suffered the same fate.It is just down to luck, but the odds are against you!!
Apart from the above, its a 2 star hotel and you generally get what you paid for.
