We firstly want to thank you for your kind comments and for choosing Aloft for your recent stay in Abu Dhabi. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed your aloft room and other facilities such as the restaurant, the bar, our breakfast buffet and of course our exclusive free wi-fi service covering the whole hotel building. Evidently these features would not mean anything without the fresh and caring attitude you mention about our staff. We have forwarded your congratulations to both Jonathan and Josef who were very pleased to read your note. We do regret that the hot water took longer than expected to reach your wished temperature. Our maintenance engineers worked firmly the last weeks to get the newly installed boiler system regulated eliminating delays on the hot water supply. With regards to the media hub, this will be able to play your iPod songs however only through RCA and HDMI connection or wireless by pairing it to the Bluetooth option. We are sorry that the connection was not successful with your device. We can assist your and try a different connection next time. Please let us know when you are visiting us again as we will be glad and proud to show the completion of our hotel with the new features such as the Mai Café at the pool and or our Relax@12 bar lounge and its stunning views at our rooftop. As a matter of fact, also thanks to your comments to the management during your stay. Please trust we are very open for feedback and have taken your comments very serious. I would like to share with you what has been done to improve ourselves: A special awareness activity inviting all taxi companies for lunch to the hotel has been carried out. This and the fact that we will initiate an agreement to have metered cabs as an alternative to our limousine service will ensure that every guest has the choice of transportation. We have addressed the matter with the service in the restaurant with our restaurant and training managers who have taken pertinent action and indeed the repeated service hitches you described should not re-occur. As for the Wi-Fi strength in the rooms, we do regret that not all antennas were available in the corridors on those dates. After activating this, all rooms are now enjoying a full quality free internet service. The hotel’s location is indeed perfect for ADNEC visitors and moreover we are close to numerous embassies and corporate offices, 20 minutes from downtown Abu Dhabi and 15 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport. On top of the taxi service improvements we have also decided to implement a daily mini bus shuttle service, making it even easier to reach Abu Dhabi Downtown, the beach, shopping facilities, etc. We do apologize for not reaching your expectations during your last stay and would be delighted to have the chance to welcome you back and demonstrate the improvements made in our performance. We are so delighted to know that you found our staff polite and to read words such as great and superb to describe the rooms, its amenities, the gym and the pool. We also appreciate your constructive feedback and have taken immediate action on most points: As for the missing items, we have now installed our soap dishes and are receiving our bedside alarm clocks and extra towel hooks to be installed before the end of November. Our Dine Restaurant offers a live buffet with a variety of international dishes, and we are enhancing the a la carte menu this month to offer you a wider choice outside the buffet. In addition to that we will open Mai Café & Restaurant and Relax@12 soon, adding two more dining choices to the hotel. Following up the comments of our location, we are implementing a mini bus shuttle service which will not take more than 20 minutes to be in Abu Dhabi downtown. With regards to our main entrance, the ground floor area actually belongs to the exhibition center hence we are not in total control of the design. We have been however authorized to add our brand features in order to make the arrival experience a much more attractive one. We do sincerely regret that you were disturbed by the noises due to the final phase of our building. Indeed works are being held from 09:00am to 06:00pm and should by no means be carried out during the night. We will definitely pass this on to the building company.
