Holiday Inn Express Norwich

Stayed at this hotel over Christmas while visiting family. It was exactly what I hoped it would be - good value (as I was paying for 2 rooms) and clean and comfortable. The hotel is bright and modern as are the rooms. This is a limited service hotel but the breakfast that is included is plentiful and with lots of choices, including healthy ones, and the breakfast seating area is very pleasant. In the USA Holiday Inn Express hotels vary a lot in style but in the UK they are usually exactly the same. This is an exception. One of the best I've ever stayed in. Large open reception area. Big rooms. Free on demand shuttle service to and from airport or railway station. (Railway station close to town centre) Would highly recommend.

Booked this hotel after looking through Tripadvisor reviews, we were going to a concert at the UEA and needed an overnight stop. I know Norwich quite well and was a little concerned both by the hotels proximity to a very large ASDA and the fact that music can always be heard blaring out from the ice-rink next door. This is a really nice hotel. I have had loads of luck with the Holiday Inn Express chain and this is no difference. There is a lot of parking and it is relatively easy to find, though it is off a busy ring road. The rooms are as expected and seem to be very standardised through the chain. This hotel does have nicer TV's though. The hotel TV system is pretty good, though a couple of times we could not use it because it was flickering black and white and wouldn't respond. I can highly recommend this hotel . The rooms are spacious,clean,bright and comfortable. There is every amenity you could possibly need for a short stay. The bathroom was a good size and exceptionally clean with enough towels for everyone (often there are only enough for 2 people even when booking a family room !) A good quality 'Motorway' style hotel, which was ideal for a couple of nights stay. In line with most HI Express hotels the appearance was smart and very clean. The rooms were standard size, in a modern style. The bathroom door was interesting which in one position served as a bathroom door and in another position as the toilet door - clever. Great hotel to stay in when visiting Norwich and the Norfolk Broads, excellent location. Convenient to reach all attractions. Free parking, ASDA adjacent. Fitness Center adjacent. Exceptional, motivated staff. Always friendly and in a good mood. Comfortable new style rooms (like the blue bathrooms light in the new HiEx. Stayed at this new hotel we had a fab time.When we arrived the hotel had a power cut ,with a few rooms arriving the Deputy Manager on in the afternoon reasured the guests that everythings would be on as soon as possiable she was true to her word.Made everyone weclome did`nt get frustrated with the situation so all the guests where happy.The staff where great could`nt do enough for everyone. I booked in at this hotel, not really knowing what to expect although most Holiday Inn Express hotel are pretty good. But from the moment I walked in I knew I had made the right decision. It was bright, clean and reception were very welcoming. The rooms were spotless and unlike other HIExpress hotels, at this one they had an evening menu. Excellent value for money. I'd recommend it to anyone.
