Nora Buri Resort & Spa

we' ve stayed at Nora Buri for almost a week, and we absolutely loved it. We originally booked in a beachside pool villa but the minute we arrived we were informed that they have upgraded our room to a beachfront. The room was fantastic, with excellent view, very clean and made out of quality materials. The location of the hotel is great especially if you are not traveling to Koh Samui with the aim of endless partying. Stunning location 5 min drive to central Chaweng, around 150-200 baht taxi. Just far enough out of town to feel relaxed, but close enough to drop in quickly. Stayed in a beachfront pool villa, and despite them not being "on the beach" - all them were very romantic and have stunning views of the sea across the private pool. The shared pool was beautiful, however I spent 2 hrs there on my arrival and had no staff attention despite being 1 of only 3 couples (at the previous 2 resorts we were provided complimentary water and a menu straight away... more

We traveled with my husband and a friend. Stayed for 8 nights at the beach front villas. The villas have a private infinity pool big enough to swim and are facing the sea. The staff was very friendly and the food excellent. The service was perfect and the location of the hotel is very good as it is quiet and yet not far from the city. We preferred to spend most of our time in the hotel as it provides all one can need for the perfect vacation. we strongly recommend this hotel for holidays.

check-in was swift and nice mango drink served. we had booked a beach pool villa; they brought as to a villa in 3rd row behind beach; they told us that we are in right room and beach villa would be more expensive; anyway, we got the beach villa then; there are only 4, and right on the beach; villas are brand new; another complex with many rooms is currently being built across the road; villas are nice, with plunge pool, nice bathroom; no lady mirror though; good fresh coffee selection for free in room with small Saeco machine;... more

After being married at the Nora Beach Resort and Spa we were offered the chance to stay at the Nora Buri, once we had visited the rooms and were given a personal tour of the resort there was no way we could decline! We also had our "wedding rehearsal dinner", 60 guests, and "day after recovery pool party" at the Nora Buri, both of which were top notch experiences. The pool area is divine with not much traffic as each villa has its own pool anyway, but it is almost tempting to leave one's own pool just for the magnificent swim up bar... more

As soon as we walked into this resort our immediate reaction was "Wow!" It only opened in April so it is brand new. The rooms have their own private pool, with a view of the beach. The beds are soooo comfortable - It feels like your sleeping in the clouds.The bathroom is nice and modern with a shower and spa. There is also a private outdoor shower. We stayed at the Beachside Pool Villa and loved the decor, facilities, size and ambience. At 115 m sq, it was relatively big. We had a corner unit with a great view of the bar pool and the beach. The private infinity pool spanned across our balcony, was big enough for four body length and had built-in jacuzzi. We were lucky to have cool sea breeze blowing into our room for a couple of nights. I was prepared to encounter some growing pains when I knew this resort is brand spanking new. But boy was I proven wrong. Brand new it may be, but the staff and personnel at Nora Buri Resort and Spa were the crowing glory of our stay at this romantic establishment. We arrived 1 hour late due to a delayed Bangkok Airways flight from Singapore. Seriously, this place is something else!!! we stayed there during our honeymoon for 5 nights. after being disappointed for a trip advisors high rated resort (Rocky's) we decided to take our rented bikes in Samui and wonder the island instead of the web to decide on which resort we are going to finish our honeymoon in. we accidently found this amazing brand new resort and had the honor to stay there 2 weeks after the resort was open. although we were a bit skeptical due to the fact it was so new we decided to take our chances anyway and what... more

We stayed for a long weekend as a treat, in a Beachside Pool Villa. The whole Nora Buri experience was amazing, we were met at the airport and whisked off to the resort, and greeted like old friends at the open-air reception and escorted to our room, which had been upgraded to a Beachfront Pool Villa. The Villa was amazing, with traditional but modern decor in dark woods, the bed large and comfortable looking out directly onto the private infinity pool and private beach beyond.
