I have stayed in many hotels but for such an established chain, you expect that the staff and customers would be treated better. There seemed to be a massive gulf inbetween the staff and management. The staff seemed stretched and they were definately understaffed. The managers seemed to swan around the hotel and take little interest in helping some of the staff and attending to us. We stayed here because we had an event at the BT Convention Centre across the road, and thought it would be easier to stay than travel home and back for work the next day. Cost £59 through the hotel website. Check in staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable, clean and modern (with flatscreen TV). Went to this admittedly new hotel with daughter and 2 grandsons for a weekend break. The hotel was good, if you avoided the wet paint, but there were some definite problems. 1) On the 1st day at breakfast my 5 year old grandson saw a dead daddy longlegs on the window ledge, which he covered with a leaf. Stayed here as we were attending a concert at the Echo Arena, location couldn't have been better - only 2 mins door to door. Everything is new and clean. The staff are very helpful and eager to please. The rooms are adequately sized for a hotel of this type. However the bed was wonderful, so comfortable I found it very easy to get to sleep - usually a problem for me in hotels. It was so comfortable we are considering buying one! Only downside was no hotel parking - multi storey close by though.

We stayed in jurys on thur and fri night last and found it to be great and worth the money. The interior is nice and modern and all the rooms have plasma tvs! The location beside albert dock was brilliant you could use buses or walk 10 mins up into the city centre. My only gripes would be (1) Because the entrance opens onto the courtyard across from the Echo arena it can become very crowded, we were trying to get back on thur night to the inn when a pink floyd tribute concert was just getting out from the arena and as there is only one... more

Stayed a week here. The first impression of the classy lobby did not match the budget style rooms and corridors. Another reviewer has described the small hanging space, two small drawers and shelves beside bed that make it difficult to unpack one's stuff for a week's stay. A new hotel in harbour area, about 10 minutes walk up to city centre. Basic standard room but good value for the price.

Bright and clean and run by attentive, friendly staff. Hotel is marketed as high quality budget and this sums it up. Rooms are a similar standard to those in Travel Lodges - no wardrobe, just hanging space, some shelves and 2 small drawers. Bathroom is functional with no frills, dispensers on the wall rather than individal toiletries. High floors have great views over Liverpool or the Albert Dock. Stayed there 4 days after it opened, so practically brand new, hence can't find any complaints at all!! Extremely good value for money. Room was good size, beds very comfortable. Booked room without breakfast, so can't comment on breakfast, but I hear it's expensive. Stayed there when attending a conference at the new ACC, situated just opposite the entrance, extremely convenient.
