Alumhurst Hotel

Myself and other half spent one night in this hotel. Room was very small and decor left a lost to be desired as it was so Orange!! There was a used tea bag on the carpet which looked as though it needed a good vacuuming. We were also woken up at 6.00am by the bin men!! The breakfast was only adequate and not much of it, we were not asked if we wanted tea/coffee top us as advertised. All in all we would not recommend this hotel.

I would personally recommend Alumhurst hotel if you really want a very homely feeling to your holiday. Pat and Steve are 2 of the nicest people I have ever meet. The hotel is very clean,you get a very good choice of food, very friendly and welcoming. We have been staying with Pat and Steve for a good many years. And I would`nt want to stay any way else in Blackpool than Alumhurst. Pat and Steve also have a lovely bar down stairs in the basement where you can relaxe and have a drink, play a few games like pool or darts, put on some music... more

Myself and two friends stayed at the Alumhurst Hotel for the Royal British Legion Women's Section Conference in April. Pat was on the doorstep to welcome us and showed us directly to our rooms, which were of excellent size with on suite, tv and tea making facilities. The meals were also excellent with a choice of menu both for breakfast and evening meal. Nothing was too much trouble. Steve's bar was open from 7pm every evening if we so desired. This was our third stay at the Alumhurst We were there with friends and for the purpose of the Dance Festival. The location is perfect for both the Winter Gardens and the famous Blackpool Tower. The atmosphere and friendliness at the Alumhurst was just as welcoming as on previous visits - Pat and Steve are becoming like old friends! Stayed at this great hotel the last weekend of the 'lights'. Handy for pubs and clubs - very clean. Will be going again this october.

Steve and Pat provide a very welcoming environment in which to enjoy your stay in Blackpool. The rooms are clean and warm. The food was of an excellent standard with provision made for those with food allergies. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would thoroughly recomend this hotel.

my partner and i have visited the alumhurst hotel on many occasions, and have found it a very pleasent place to stay,the bedrooms are comfortable and offer a range of facilities,the meals are good with a wide choice of options catrering for all tastes,and served in a spacious dining room.in the evening the well stocked bar provides alovely place to relax for young and old alike.both pat and steve francis are friendly and helpful and offer advice on places of interest if required.

Very well situated (central) always a friendly welcome,homely well cooked food,clean rooms.Stayed there several times and booked again for this year.

Found on the internet and was a great find, delicious food home cooked and excellent service. Family run hotel and could not do enough for you. Excellent loacation right in the centre of Blackpool. Rooms all on suite and clean.
