Lambana Resort

This was our first time in Goa stayed at the Lambana Hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel. Great staff very friendly,food good rooms clean and very well maintained. Pool area great . We are going back next year to the same hotel and cant wait.

Returned a few days back from Goa (paradise on earth) after a 7 day long stay. Was out for my annual vacation (my mandatory leave from office) Got put up at Lambana Resort. we stayed at he Lambana Hotel for a week in March and loved it, from the moment we arrived we were made very welcome by the lovely staff. The rooms are very well equipped and newly furnished so everything is spick and span. I loved the location which is just near the Tibetan market in Calangute. The pool area is really nice although we never used it as we go to the beach every day, I would recommend this hotel and it is small and friendly within a minutes walk of Calangute centre.

Am a regular visitor to Goa, and have stayed in a wide variety of accommodations, and the Lambana is by far the best!! The welcome we received from lovely Merlyn set the whole tone for our stay. All the staff are charming and polite and can't do enough for you. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the bathrooms modern and had the best flushes i've ever encountered in India!!! (haha!) First time in Goa and choose Lambana because of reviews. Hotel was kept very clean, the rooms are ample size with kettle, coffee machine, TV and great A/C. Well stocked fridge in the room, 30r for a bottle of water., 25r for coke or 7UP. The hotel is situated a 10 mins walk to the beach via an adjoining path. Be aware you walk through the local villagers homes on the way to the beach, all whom are friendly and don't appear to mind. Breakfast is basic, coffee, tea, toast and eggs. i booked this on a half board package after reading other reviews. we were two couples and stayed here for 4 nights during our month long travels around india. the hotel was very clean including the bathroom which had a shower curtain in the wet room so the whole bathroom didnt get wet! i hope they keep the standards up. its in a good location. the staff were all very helpful and friendly even the restuarant staff although our waiter got our food orders wrong on 3 nights so we ate out on the 4th night. it was the same set menu all... more

We have just returned from this hotel and it was a fabulous place. The staff were excellent, Calpesh and his staff, Raj, Hermant and the others could not do enough for us. The roomboys and the poolboys kept the place immaculate. Reception staff were so friendly, as was everyone! Food was good and the location was very central. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a good, clean hotel right in the centre of the action!! Can't wait for our return visit next year.

Another one who ended up here by accident. The hotel is the sister of the Somy resort and is absolute quality. It is similar to the Neelam the Grand, which is the No1 hotel in Calangute. The Lambana offers less room space than the Neelam but this is reflected in the price difference. Bar opens from 11 to 11. Pool from 9 to 6. Staff ever so helpful and very talkative if you make the first move. Ihonestly can not say one bad thing agianst the hotel. It will become very busy once the word is out on the street, as stated by others.

This was our 5th time in Goa and this was without doubt the best hotel we've stayed in. Like most people we ended up at the Lambana by accident but believe me it didn't fail to impress. Recently refurbished it was absolute luxury by Goa standards. The staff were brilliant if a little untrained but to be honest this added to the charm. Friendly, clean and well run. This hotel will do very well once the word gets out.

This is a great hotel we fell upon by accident. Our lovely tour operator decided to change our hotel 48 hours before travelling & we were put in here. This is all refurbished and absolutely lovely, we loved it. The staff cant help enough especially Maria on reception. The rooms are comfortable and furnished to a really high standard. The A/C is brilliant. the bathroom is actually a wet room so plenty of room for dancing in the shower. It is immaculately clean with minibar(ridiculously cheap) and satellite TV. <br... more
