To all those thinking about using this hotel or shall i say" A RUN DOWN BEDSIT"i strongly advise you to book elsewhere!!!This was the worse experience of my life and this is no exaggeration.The 24hr bar was about their best attraction of this Dump and this is being polite. The website states it has a lift, which it does however it doesn't work! The picture shown on the site must be a showroom as my room was not like this at all! Take a look!

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had its more like run down bed sit but looked like something even squatters wouldn’t even stay in. The website is misleading and there is no such thing as luxury rooms. Yes it’s not expensive but all you expect are the basics and for it to be clean and functional. I was unfortunately away after suffering a heart attack however I am now back and have had time to review all Closed Circuit Television recordings during your stay. I feel the review is a well over exaggerated response to your stay at St Michael’s hotel, and your reviews are biased. Our web site states that some areas of the hotel are offline while our re-furb is in progress. It would have been nice if you had of asked in the numerous e-mails if any area was offline!. Those of you who have read the above please keep reading our other 5/5 reviews since Jan 1st 2007. Thank you

OMG had so much fun in this hotel a def for all those crazy party people out there, I understand a refurb is currently going on so I will def come back once done , the owner and bar staff are really friendly and will look after you, the breakfast was fantastic just what you needed. What A Great Party Hotel!!

Having gone to this hotel with a group of 6 girls to celebrate a 21st birthday, I feel compelled to compliment this hotel on its hospitaility and party atmosphere! Just to summarize as I could go on about this hotel all day: Excellent staff - Ben, Gary, Vince and Kieron - loving your work x Wicked 24hr bar (and gotta love the spin the wheel!) Breakfast was a treat (just the job after all them hours in the bar!) Parking Bournemouth is a great party place, and I can not think of anywhere better to spend a party...

Had my hen weekend in bournemouth and stayed here!!!! Rooms very basic, but hey only needed to put your head down! Owners fantastic, bar superb, and the breakfast was just what you needed for the 'morning after'! Thank you so much,

New Owner has taken over January 2007 and in the middle of refurbishing. Rooms very basic you get what you pay for however the staff were absolutely fantastic. So friendly nothing was ever too much for them, would definitely stay again. Cannot wait for my next trip, even if it is just for their cooked breakfast........
Awful - More Like A Hostel

NEVER STAY HERE!!!!!!!!! We booked a month in advance.. we walked to our rooms and walked back out. The twin room had two camp beds and a wardrobe stuck between them. The table was a computer stand?? The bath had no plug and the toilet was all brown stained.. the restaurant was EURGH! I wouldnt even walk on that floor.. luckily we got our deposit back - this place should be destroyed!

we were looking for a double room for one night! were greeted well at st michaels, the entrance to the hotel was impressive so we expected the room to be great. we paid 60 pounds for the room, when shown the room to our horror it was a disgrace! it felt more like a dungeon, with just a bed and that was it! no tea making tray, no towels, and the bed sheets looked like they had seen better days! and clenliness wasnt much of a priority! luckely for us we made a sharp exit, with a refund! our advice, view before agreeing to stay! things arnt...

We booked to stay at Saint Michael's Hotel in Bournemouht England. We booked ion 27 April to stay at the hotel for 10 June as we had a wedding to go to. I paid for it but never received any comfirmation. I kept ringing and ringing to ask them to send my confirmation that we had been booked in. Finally I received an email to say that I can confrim you are booked in June 10 2006 for one night. We arrived on 10 June and we were told that the room would not be ready until 2.00pm. I've never stayed in such a joke of a hotel. I'm very easy to please when it comes to a cheap and cheerful B&B but the least you can ask for is a bed not just to be made but to be actually BUILT! After searching the web we thought we'd found the ideal place. We booked into this "hotel" 5 weeks before we were due to stay, we turned up late afternoon to be told the bedrooms weren't ready yet so we decided to stay in the bar....an hour and a half later and we have the keys in hand being told the bedrooms were ready.
