Casa Viento

My fiance and I loved Casa Viento, we spent 9 amazing nights there and didn't want to leave. It's so close to the airport, we were standing on the beach within 1/2 hour of landing. Rooms were clean, comfortable and felt like home. The pool was refreshing and the beach was gorgeous. Our hosts, Lisa & Ed knew all the BEST restaurants to eat at, beaches to snorkel at, and places to visit. My husband and I spent a total of four nights at CV this May 2007 for our 5th anniversary trip. I am so thankful to Trip Advisor for enabling me to find this guest house. For the first two nights we stayed in room #5 right next to the pool. The room was painted a soothing Caribbean blue and also featured a large walk-in closet (bonus! We came to Casa Viento for our dream tropical wedding- which it was! Nicole covered every aspect of arranging and coordinating a destination wedding, from meeting with our wedding coordinator to finding us an amazing caterer. It was absolutely perfect! Casa Viento is a beautiful place to stay. The owners make you feel right at home. Every convenience, from wireless internet and satellite television to modern and high-end appliances are at your disposal. I am often concerned about not having the conveniences of home when I travel, but I was completely satisfied. Nic and Lisa are fabulous hosts, making you feel like family while catering to every need. I definitely will stay there again.

The house and the grounds are beautiful. Great place for multi generational family vacation. I think there are 8 bedrooms and bathrooms. Beach is a 1 minute walk, the pool on the property is set in a beautiful garden. Nic & Lisa were great hosts and the beds were sooooo comfortable. Lots to do in Cozumel, or you can just kick back and relax.

I have never written a review about a place I have travelled to or stayed at before, but Casa Viento deserves a review. It is a perfect getaway. Very well maintained, beautiful setting, warm/friendly/ generous owners, convenient to everything; I couldn't have asked or dreamed of a better time. I stayed there for 8 days and didn't want to leave, definitely going back. I would definitely recommend anyone staying there.

I booked a room thru hotels.com first and there was a big mixup, so I emailed Casa Viento directly. They called me back immediately and were great. I also changed my dates a few times based on airline rates and they accomadated me everytime. Nicole and Lisa are very friendly and helpful. They said it would be like staying with friends, and it absolutely was. Just got back from a great week in Coz. Highly recommend Casa Viento as a relaxed informal accommodation. Stayed in unit 5 - spartan and small but adequate as most time is spent outdoors anyway. Bed was comfortable AC worked and unit was cleaned spotlessly every day. Takes a day or so to get used to the idea of the communal kitchen - but once you get the hang of it it's ideal. When we were looking for hotel accommodations for Cozumel, we looked thorough all the reviews on Tripadvisor. We definitely did not want to stay at an AI, and chose this place because we were looking for a place to really relax. During our stay we spent time here and at Villas Las Anclas. We spent 6 wonderful days at Casa Viento that will be hard to top! We were traditional "all inclusive" travelers and this was our first foray into the smaller places. We coud not have picked a better place to stay! Casa Viento was quiet and laid back, yet had everything we needed. Lisa, our hostess, was absolutely the best, from worrying about us when we were flight delayed to making sure we had the "inside" info on the best places to eat.
