The Grove Hotel

I chosehte place because of the reviews from this website and found it to be a nice place. Good price and atmosphere.

My stay in the Grove Hotel, Falmouth was the most pleasurable stay I have ever had. The hotel is in a great location, has comfortable rooms and superb meals. The staff really enhance the hotel, they are always extremely friendly and recommend many things to do in the lovely town of Falmouth. Thank you to everyone at the hotel and in the town of Falmouth for giving me a wonderful experience!

I can't disagree with most of the other reviews made here. The location is superb within Falmouth and the property looks lovely from the outside. Inside, there is an obvious difference between the refurbished areas (breakfast, one of the 1st floor bedrooms I saw) and the 'old' areas (lounge, 2nd floor room we stayed in). Our room on the 2nd floor looked rather tired, had a worn bathroom suite, and felt grubby / dirty (this became particularly apparent when searching high/low for a set of lost keys). My wife and I had a comfortable stay. The hotel is small but has a welcoming atmosphere. It is very close to the town centre and anything else you could want in Falmouth such as the beaches, ferries and castle. The only downside was that it doesnt have its own car park but we were forewarned by the hotel staff and pointed to a free, safe car park very close by (30 seconds walk.) Breakfast was a generous and tasty.

I stayed at the Grove earlier this year and loved it. The service was fantastic and staff were so welcoming i didn't want to leave! Its in a great location and is really convenient for seeing the sights of Cornwall. The room we stayed in was lovely, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a place to stay in Cornwall I highly recommend the Grove.

We stayed at the Grove Hotel in June. It's run by a family, so the service was really friendly and there was always someone on hand to give advice on the best places to visit around Falmouth. The hosts are both very good cooks, so breakfast was always somethig to look forward to! The hotel is in a great location close to Falmouth town and the lovely beaches just up the road. We enjoyed the sea air and clean waters. The room was clean, light and airy and we are definitely going to stay there again when we visit later this year.

This pretty family-run hotel is one of the friendliest and most welcoming I have ever stayed at, as well as being exceptionally good value. The situation of the hotel is perfect for visiting many of the local attractions and the village centre. Our stay in The Grove Hotel, Falmouth was one of the best holidays we have had. The hotel itself was splendid with great surroundings, comfortable rooms and superb breakfasts. However, it was the staff that makes the hotel what it is; friendly and helpful we were really spoilt! Thank you all at the hotel for a wonderful few days.

Falmouth has a plethora of small hotels but we found no decent website to help a visitor to distinguish between them. For that reason I can say, with all sincerity, that we were privaleged to find the beautiful, friendly Grove Hotel. From the moment we entered Geoff was fantastically welcoming and all his staff were friendly, they simply couldnt do enough to help, offering splendid advice on all things local. I've stayed at The Grove Hotel on a number of occasions now, and have always had a fantastic time. The friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and superb, comfortable facilities, along with an idlic setting all contributed to an excellent holiday. I have nothing but fond memories from my time there and fully intend to stay again soon.
