Ok Place.....Nothing much to rave about!
from charlie15
I spent 3 days from the 26 to the 28 of Dec at Rajapruek Samui with a group of friends. Rajapuek is a decent place, but there is nothing much there to rave about. I have sen & ben to much better and nicer places in Thailand in the same price range. Pros: The hotel is is pretty clean and well kept. The " superior" rooms are very basic though, the bungalows are a bit more comfortable. There is a nice stretch of white sand beach in front of the hotel. The 2 pools are good as well Cons: - Service is very slow, uneven...

A hidden Gem in Samui
from virgintrvlr
Been back 1 week from a 4 week long trip of a lifetime in Thailand. One place I remember most was the Rajapruek Samui Resort. We stayed 3 days at this resort and although this resort had everything you could ask for and more it felt as if we were at home as the owner and his daughters worked right at the hotel. The staff...each and everyone of them were very pleasant and always smilling. The food, the beach, the room, internet access, activities, everything was fantastic! We compared every hotel/resort to this one and came to a unanimous...

Wish I was still there!
from srooze
My husband and I stayed at Rajapruek for a week of the 2 weeks we were in Thailand. It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend this resort! The staff was wonderful, always so helpful and cheerful! They were very helpful with any questions as well. It is a very peaceful atmosphere and if you're looking to "get away" this is absolutely perfect! We felt like we had our own private beach with beautiful white sand and breath taking sunsets. Although there aren't many restaurants right next door to the resort, the...

Lovely hotel to relax in
from sjturner
This is a fantastic hotel to stay in if your looking for a relaxing time. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant food is very good and reasonably priced. We booked a birthday special offer on their website which included transfers, a special beach dinner, breakfast, internet and a beach bungalow. It was very good value and was all perfect. The hotel arranged a moped for us to explore the island which was good fun.

After long, almost painful search for the 'right' hotel for parents, wife and myself, i was convinced by TripAdvisor reviews to book Rajapruek. Great choice! We wanted a place where we could hang out and talk. A place where the food was good and the staff friendly and helpful. A place where we didn't feel like "just another guest." A place with a good beach but not a lot of people. We got all this and more at Rajapruek. It is on a very quiet part of the island but only a few minutes by taxi to Nath On where there's some shopping...

Loved it
from Brecon4
Recently arrived home from a 2 1/2 week tour of thailand with our two daughters of 16 and 18 years old. Rajapruek Samui resort was the second location of our trip and we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay...wish we could have stayed longer!! We stayed in the family suite looking on to the stunning views of the fabulous beach. The room was excellent, as was the service of the extremely pleasant staff . It was a very quiet resort, ideal if you want to get away from it all. Although, if you want something a bit livelier in the...

Total relaxation
from johnboyNewcastle
if you are looking for a few nights in a spotlessly clean, friendly family run hotel with one of the nicest most unspoilt beaches, then this is the place to go. We stayed in a standard room with sea views, the cleaners were in and done before you could say jack flash. The food is amazing and the staff are all so friendly even to the extent of all lining up to say their farewells. Its not the trashy Chaweng and there is very little to do at night but we loved it........well done Rajapruek.
Gets better every year!
from Sher-7
It has been over a year since we were last at this wonderful resort and there have been many improvements for instance a brand new full length pool and improvements to the garden and general surroundings. On our arrival late at night we receieved a very warm welcome, amazingly staff remembering us from our last stay and made us feel very at home immediately. We were upgraded and given our choice of available rooms and a cocktail! always nice. The rooms and facilities are immaculate and you cant fault the staff - they go out of...

The best beach resort
from James_Lockhart
We had booked three nights at this hotel but having arrived we extended our stay by two more. The hotel is right on the beach in a very quiet and pleasant area, with palm trees and sand, picnicking locals, fishermen etc. stretching a long way in both directions. We passed only 4 or 5 other resorts, restaurants etc. in walking both directions up the beach. We are not lovers of highly-developed beach resorts, but this place has it all: both the empty beach and the two pools (one of which is long enough for real swimming), the free use...

Rajapruek Resort - Definately Due a Return Visit
from StuartTripper
This a small family owned and run hotel in Thong Yang Baywhich is about as far away as you can get from the throng of Chaweng Beach (45 minutes by car). My wife and I stayed in one of their beach bungalows on the recommendation of friends. The bungalow was well appointed with king size bed, air con, mini bar etc. and the furtherest bungalow is about 50 paces from the beach. The beach shelves gently to the sea and the bay provides safe bathing. The hotel is in the process of expanding with room blocks and a larger pool being built...
