Samui Paradise Chaweng Beach Resort

We stayed in this hotel for a week in January. We absolutely LOVED it!! You get the best of both worlds here - few minutes walk to all night attractions, but still remain secluded and quite at southern end of this busy beach. The staff was extremely welcoming and acomodating. We enjoyed the privacy of an amazing pool and the beach. Make sure to book the Grand Seaside villa. We sayed here with our kids aged 4 & 7. We booked the Paradise suite, which is large enough for a family of 4 and directly on the beachfront. Good beds, nicely decorated and two bathrooms. Large fridge and free drinking water and fruit each day. This is the newest room at the resort and is well finished. For a family holiday the location is spot on. We stayed at the Samui Paradise for 4 nights in the garden room. Our room was basic but was clean and had a well stocked mini-bar and electronic safe. The location of the Samui Paradise is great on the south end of Chaweng Beach. It is quiet but within walking distance of unlimited restaurants and shops. The pool overlooks the ocean and is a great place to relax during happy hour. you can easily run and take a dip in the ocean and then come back to the fresh water shower and shade by the pool.

Although we were staying in another complex close by we were tempted by the restaurant on the beach which looked superb but looks can be deceiving! The meals were served cold on cold plates, whilst only half the crab selected was served and the fillet steak was inedible. OK I can accept that sometimes there are problems but the manager did not want to know and left the problem in the hands of the young waiter. Highly over priced for poor food!

First we stayed in a standard bungalow because we were told by the travelagency superior room was fully booked. The standard bungalows are situated along the beach road and really need an update. Especially the Bathroom which is spacious but the walls are full with moisture spots and also some ceiling plates were broken. i was in thailand with my husband in february, 4 nights in bangkok at the marriott hotel (wonderful) and than we moved to ko samui for ten days. i booked the paradise chawend beach on their website , i choose it because we can have a bungalow directly on the beach , and on the pictures everything looked nice. well when i arrived i had my first negative feeling, the reception was little ,more like an office ,close and separeted from the rest of the hotel , the employees were less nice than the other thai people i met, and after... more

Samui Paradise was everything we expected it to be - a secluded resort with a beautiful beach spot and relaxing pool. The restaurant was decent and the service was great. Check-out was at noon, but our flight wasn't until 10pm. Even though we had to check out, they offered us the use of another room to shower in the afternoon if we needed it. Also has free internet access at reception.

We stayed at Samui Paradise Resort for a night in early September after having stayed in Lamai for 4 nights. Due to miscommunication over the phone earlier, our booking ended up being shifted to a day earlier. Luckily we called before checking in and the reception staff offered us a Garden View Villa instead of a Pool View Villa we had already paid for. We stayed at the Samui Paradise Chaweng for 8 nights this June (2006). Its a small resort made up of villas/huts. We really couldn't have asked for any more from this accommodation. Everything about it was perfect. On arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink and cold towel, perfect after our flight from Bangkok, as it was very hot the day of our arrival. Stayed 14 night at Samui Paradise Chaweng. This is most likely the best value at Samui island. Excellent service, good bungalows placed just a few meters from the beach. The beach itself is very clean and spotless. Quiet location at the end of the beach, but still just a 5 minutes walk to chaweng center. General Service, Breakfast, restaurant and the beach bar is all just very good. Will visit this paradise again in february 2006. Higly recommanded paradise.
