I found the manager completely obnoxious. He really should not be providing a public service. He was not what I would call professional

I stayed for one night on a business trip in November. Thankfully it was on expenses as I would not part with my money for this place! The website says rooms decorated to a 'Very High Standard'. Well I'd hate to see their low standard. It was terrible. The bathroom was disgusting with black mould round the bath/shower. Found the room spacious clean and comfortable in the hotel itself. Food was to a high standard for breakfast and evening meals. Staff were also friendly and helpful. Overall a good stay and would go back again.

reading the reviews on the website about the Commodore we were really not looking forward to our stay, but we were completely wrong.The staff were brilliant, the food was great, rooms clean and comfortable and we would stay there again in the future

Just spent a week in this Hotel and found the rooms very clean and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming right from the start. We were welcomed with tea/coffee and biscuits, which we were very thankful for after our long journey. Meals were of excellant quaility and the service was spot on. All staff were extremley friendly and helpful,including cleaners,waiters,bar staff and kitchen staff especially Sean who called the bingo and gave us a very funny nights enterainment. Would stay at this hotel again.

Thin towels, bed that sagged in the middle, lethal shower, filthy windows - what else can you say. I won't be back.

Really bad and old fashioned!!! Staff were very unhelpful apart from Cilla on reception who was excellent! The choice of bar food is rubbish you can either have sandwiches, baquettes or rolls so if you dont like bread your stuffed...oh apart from a choice of Jacket Potatoes (more carbs!!!) There is a restaurant too but with a very dull choice. Arrived after having a very tiring journey. The only thing that made us stay the night was that we had booked in advance taking recommendations from the Hotel web site, the bed and carpet in the bedroom was clean. The rest of the hotel needed a complete makeover. We couldn't even get Tomato Ketchup with our breakfast. I really felt sorry for the staff as I felt that they were highly embarresed.

This poor old place needs a serious makover. the staff try but honestly given the circumstances can't win. Dirty Nets Lethal showers dreadful beds Poor old LLandod needs a bit of a boost Welsh Tourist board take note.

This hotel is in desperate need of a makeover. There was nobody there when we turned up and we couldn't even get a drink! The room's were behind the times. No effort has been made here for guests whatsoever. Avoid this place.
