The hotel is hardley 1 star, The room was dirty and the bed cover was old and full of dust.$350.00 (USD) is A LOT OF MONEY for a hotel like this. The most they Sshould charge for this hotel is $90.00.

Just back from a great holiday staying at grand Hotel Liberty. Spotless hotel with extra friendly staff who could not do enough for us. meals were top class and waiter service was excellent. Very charming hotel but at same time had modern facilities. Beauty Spa was so luxurious and reasonably priced. Hotel needs to be refurbished. Ordering meals in the morning for the evening is ridiculous, as i'm sure the meals are cooked early and reheated. The staff were excellent . The guide was So So

Left the Liberty on Tuesday last 4th April 2006 after staying 8 days. It was a very enjoyable stay. The room was good, food excellent and music most nights. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I would have liked Sky TV in the room but you can't have everything. Another thing that would have been good was a kettle in the room, you know the Irish for tea! Iris

My husband and I have returned from a great trip to Riva Del Garda (1st to 8th of December, at Grand Hotel Liberty. I'd just like to say that it was the best holiday we have ever been on. The hotel was absolutely fantastic and the staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous at all times. We are just back from a fantastic week in the Grand Hotel Liberty in Riva Del Garda. I just wanted to write let people know know that we really enjoyed our stay. We recently spent a week at the Liberty hotel (15th - 24th Sept) and found all the staff very helpful and friendly. The head waiter and his staff were excellent and the food (despite some earlier comments) was very good. We had a room near the outside pool which was of a good size and very clean and comfortable. Having just returned from this hotel, I must say it is a grand hotel in every sense. When you consider that for a cost of 125GBP (150E) a night, you get two pools, a wellness centre and two meals a day for two people its fantastic. The staff are very helpful, the Maitre D is a real star and nothing is too much trouble. Yes the Attic rooms are small but comfortable, the bathroom is italian, you shower it gets wet. My boyfriend and I have both just returned from Lake Garda and had a fantastic time! I have to admit that I read some of the earlier reviews on Hotel Liberty before going, and was a little worried with some of the bad feedback. I visited the Liberty last year and got married then. I returned again this year and have been horrified to read the reviews that some people have left. I don't dispute that some rooms are a little small even though this has never happened to me. Ask Reception, they will endeavour to move you, there aim is that your stay is the best that they can make it. My girlfriend and I stayed at the liberty for a week at the beginning of august and were very impressed. The staff were extremely helpful, very pleasant and all spoke good english. The waiters deserve special mention for working tirelessly every day to ensure that everyone was enjoying their stay.
