Eversley Hotel

My partner and myself stayed at the eversley hotel for a four day break in September, As we are keen walkers we had chosen the hotel as it is perfectly placed with coastal footpaths and beautiful scenery. The food was excellent and great value, and staff were friendly. The hotel has a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere as does the Isle of Wight. Are room was comfortable and clean, I would certainly consider another stay at the Eversley.

We shall return to this hotel next year as we have done over past years. What I like about it is that it positively welcomes babies and small children alongside all the other age groups. That is still a rarity in Britain and is invaluable for that reason. It has also successfully and happily achieved a balance; presenting itself as a family hotel - with all the advantages that can mean - while justifiably earning AA Three Star status in the quality of its facilities. I wish more hotels were like this one.

My husband and I have just returned from this hotel-and agree with your last reviewer on the look and smell of the place!! Shown initially to a ground floor room facing the road and looking in to the bungalow opposite. Immediately requested another oom, was offered a gloomy family suite or one that at least had a view of the park, so opted for that. However, the room was filthy. My Mum and I stayed at the Eversley for a week in early September, and I must say I am amazed at how many good reviews there are - the place needs to be shut down and renovated, it looked and smelt like an old people's home, the sort you dread being stuck in against your will by uncaring children! We have just returned from a 4 night 5 days break at the Eversley Hotel which overall was great. The food is superb 5 courses every evening the staff were very friendly and helpful. However the cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired loads of dust everwhere when we arrived thats not too much of a problem however the bathroom was really grubby the toilet had not been cleaned and the shower was not much better and it appears that these facilities need a bit more tlc and updating because this is letting down the general... more

Went for bank holiday break with partner and parents. The selling point of the hotel is the pool and its location which is quite pleasant. The rooms are reasonable without being anything special and although not using the restaurant personally my parents said the food was again, a reasonable standard. Although I can't say anything negative about the hotel it is a functional 3 star and not one I would go back to, it is a reasonable base for enjoying the rest of the island.

A great situation adjacent to the coastal foot path and a gentle stoll into Ventnor. Very comforatble room, friendly and helpful staff, brilliant food.

We recently stayed at the Eversley on a short break and were able to relax completly,the staf were helpfull and friendly and the food was excellent.From the grounds we could access the park and coast paths and walk to the local coves.Wonderfull value! We will be back.

My wife and my two dogs had a fantastic break at the Eversley Hotel, Ventnor.The accommadation was most comfortable with ample facilities, the situation, just below the undercliff, is ideal for beautiful walks and the food was absolutely brilliant. We have booked a summer holiday as we were so impressed.

We have had 2 mini-breaks at the Eversley and will probably return again this summer. Friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms and, for a 3-star, excellent food in terms of both choice and quality. Also, they've converted some rooms into adjoining family rooms, which is ideal for us with 2 young children; we have our privacy but know that they are secure in their own room with no separate access to the corridor.
