An excellent small hotel, fully deserving its outstanding reviews on Tripadvisor. The public areas are welcoming and attractive, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are comfortable. For tourists, the location is ideal -- right in the heart of Spaccanapoli, the historic district, only a few blocks from the Museo Archeologico and within walking distance of many of the historic churches, squares and restaurants. Although the streets outside are noisy, the hotel is nestled in a quiet courtyard.

We stayed here for 2 nights mid June and actually wished we could stay longer. Excellent location in the historic center and walkable to most sights...neighborhood felt safe and we walked everywhere. It is hidden inside a gate and feels like you are in a private villa not a hotel. We booked room 104 and it was very nice and just next to the pool. Hotel is quiet in a noisy city. Staff very efficient...nice breakfast. Contrary to some impressions voiced on the Naples forum we found the city very interesting and would love to return....not... more

My wife & I stayed here for 2 nights during our tour through Italy. An oasis of calm in this very lively city. Right next to the Piazza Bellini with some wonderful restaurants. The junior suites were fully booked, but our standard room was superb: clean, quiet, reasonably spacious, comfortable bed, modern bathroom. Our only (minor) complaint: the water temperature & pressure in the shower were a little unpredictable, so best to have a bath. A wonderful hotel. In my view, they have got everything just right here - the service is absolutely excellent without being at all intrusive - all of the staff were wonderful. We stayed for only two nights (wish we could have stayed longer!) in June 2006. I can't wait to go back! It was my husband's birthday and I emailed to organise a cake on arrival ahead of time - a request which they dealt with very promptly. We selected this hotel based upon TripAdvisor feedback. It was exactly as described but better. Our room was lovely with a table set with china for two and a plate filled with fresh fruit. There were fresh flowers by the bed and on the table. The jucuzzi tub was huge and had a waterfall shower head in the ceiling. Bath salts for the tub, bath robes and slippers. What a find. If you are going to stay in Naples, stay here. Hint: There is a very decrete sign on the street indicating the entrance to the hotel but it is better to go by... more

After many disappointing experiences in Naples (avoid in particular the overpriced "historic" hotels), I was very glad to have found this nice boutique hotel in a renovated palace in he heart of the old city and off the lovely Piazza Bellini. Clean decoration, modern comfort, good service, excellent buffet breakfast for a small hotel. Gay friendly (which is not always the case in this part of Italy). Definitely deserves the number one rating.

We spent one night in Naples at the end of a wonderful two week holiday visiting the Amalfi coast in July 2005. We chose this hotel based on the reviews on trip adviser and we were not disappointed. It is an oasis in a fabulous but hectic city! We caught a bus from the Circumvesuviana as we had travelled from Sorrento, it is a bit tricky to find but that is part of the charm. Just keep your eyes open for the sign! The staff were very professional and polite, we had to leave early the next morning and they arranged for the taxi to the airport... more

After reading the review on this webstie I was looking forward to staying in this hotel. I was not disappointed. The hotel was lovely - very clean and tidy. Breakfast was great with cheese, meats, fruit, cereal and scrambled eggs and bacon. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We walked by this hotel 3 times before finding it but once we did it was in a quiet oasis off the noise of the street. This hotel is in a fantastic location for visiting Naples (we were only there one day). It is in the historic center and very near the National Archaeological Museum. The hotel itself is elegant and our room was spacious with a large modern bathroom, safe, and was very clean. We opened our windows onto a relatively quiet street. This hotel is part of a lovely old palace and is entered through a courtyard with gardens and a small swimming pool. the public areas are gracefully decorated and spacious, and the rooms are equally attractive and splendidly maintained. Staff are consistently helpful, multilingual, and gracious. Location is terrific; safe and charming neighborhood with good access to subway and buses and only a couple of blocks from the National Archaeological Museum.
