Ramada Encore Bournemouth

My husband and I booked this hotel for a two day stay after searching for hotels on trip advisor with decent reviews. We found the staff polite and helpful, the room was clean and had everything we needed. The shower was excellent! We watched a pay-per-view movie and this cost £4.95, which was fine but we had to pay in cash. The breakfast is adequate and has a good variety but the cooked items were of average quality. We've stayed in most of the usual UK budget hotels and this has to be one of the better ones. The room and bathroom were modern and clean and had all the basic facilities. It can be a little noisy which probably isn't helped by the fact that all the rooms have laminate flooring which can make it sound like there's an elephant in the room above. Ask for one of the rooms at the opposite end of the floor to the lifts and you shouldn't have too much of a problem. The staff are very friendly and helpful so I'm sure they'll help with... more

This is a clean bright hotel. The rooms are a good size and the bathroom was very well cleaned. I booked after reading the great reviews on Tripadvisor. Sadly my partner and I wouldnt stay here again as we were kept up most of the night by noise from the next door room and the smell of cigrette smoke which came under the door which joined the two rooms (I guess it is designed to be used as a family room). All the big hotel chains now have budget versions where, for usually between £50 and £100 you can get a fairly clean, fairly comfortable room for the night. And they're all pretty similar, perfectly acceptable for a night or two, but pretty depressing if you're on the road for a while. Of all of them, Ramada Encore (or at least the one in Bournemouth) is easily the best. Great budget hotel to stay at. Look at the website and you get exactly as it shows. Staff were very friendly and helpful. new hotel so room was very clean and spacious. Note hanging space is coat hangers on coat hooks, very basic but adequate. Good english breakfast with fresh fruit and continental pastries. Would stay again when in Bournemouth

What a lovely hotel, very new, lots of parking for free outside & underground. The staff were very friendly. The location was great as walking distance into town & places to eat. The hotel/room was upto date with all mod cons, but found that it had a shower only as I like a bath. The bed was very comfortable too. The heating was a problem to work out like the other person said & wasn't quiet had to switch it off. The open air cupboard isn't for my liking but one can put up with it for a weekend. We paid £59 for a sat night including breakfast. The rooms are basic but modern and very clean just like the whole complex. The service was first class and now we've found this hotel we will not stay anywhere else in Bournemouth

We had a brilliant time at the Ramada Encore, the hotel is spotlessly clean and modern and the staff were fantastic. It took us a while to work out how to operate the room heating but once we did it was fine. Managed to grab a deal directly from the hotel website so had 3 nights for the price of 2, bargain!
