Although clean and tidy the hotel is rather dated and showing its age.
The food was very poor and on some occasions we couldn't be bothered to eat there, even though we had booked half board.
As far as its location is concerned don't bother if you have young children. Yes its not far from Gondola station, but you have to climb up and down 3 lots of stone steps to get there, a nightmare with prams, skis, boots etc.
The staff were a bit hit and miss. Some helpful and polite while others (mainly restaurant staff) were surly and miserable.
In summary while I enjoyed Sierra Nevada and would definitely go back my family and I are all agreed, we would never stay at the Kenia Nevada again.
