Lovely hotel, lovely staff and got a last minute deal which made it even better. Rooms very clean and stylish. Brekkie was great. Only problem was parking but that's Padstow ! This is an excellent place to stay as a base if you are either having a holiday or short break or as in our case my partner was taking part in a cookery course at the Padstow Seafood School. We stayed in this remarkable hotel for three days and found it to be most pleasant in EVERY way. When we booked it was made to be so simple,a receptionist called Jean actually made it a "pleasant" experience and when we arrived Jean,and other staff could not have made us feel more welcome,i could not list one fault,however minor.! Sadly we will not be able to review the hotel itself but if the treatment of guests is anyway similar to how our booking has been handled, I think we have made a lucky escape. Initially I called to book one night at the hotel, and was told it was fully booked. I stayed here with my boyfriend in October. We loved the hotel it was really cosy and romantic. The hotel has a good location - is about a 5 minute walk down in to the village. It was clean and the rooms were nicely and quite lavuishly decorated. They provided good information about the local area and things that you could visit. The hotel owners were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked fry-up! Perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a romantic weekend away.

i have just visited this hotel and was really impressed it was such a comfortable hotel, good breakfast and really nice people , very close to amenities which was good as didnt have to walk far after a good evening out, will definately be returning to this hotel

I have just returned from a very pleasant two day stay at the Cross House Hotel, Padstow. Situated within easy reach of the harbour I found the hotel provided excellent service with very pleasant rooms and excellent facilities. The staff (Lisa and Jean) were great and I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends and family.

Had a one night stop-over at this hotel as we were eating at the Seafood Restaurant Sunday evening. The Staff were wonderfully helpful and very welcoming. The room had a fab view and was exceptionally clean and tidy, spacious and had nice touches like handsoap, shampoo and tea-making facilities. We have just had our second stay at the Cross House Hotel in Padstow and wouldn't hesitate in returning again. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are extremely comfortable and clean. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The only thing that could be a possible down side is the lack of parking, but as we were staying out of season this was not a problem for us. We loved this hotel and will definitely return again.

Unfortunately for us, we were not happy with the hotel on this,our second stay here in three years. We paid £500.00 for a four night stay in the room at the very front of the hotel. The bedspread was torn;one set of curtains was ripped;there was a dirty drinking glass in the bathroom and a young lady member of staff found too 'put out' when we requested breakfast outside in the front garden,complaining 'we haven't enough staff'.
