Maywood Hotel

Excellent experience right from check-in to check-out. Front Desk Staff (Cagatay) is a true blessing for any visitor. Extremely Customer-centric, courteous and professional staff. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. From a tourist perspective ideally located with walking distance from all major historical sites. The wireless hi speed internet was a blessing. Airport shuttle service is also a very good value addition to the services provided by Maywood Hotel. Now I know where to stay when I visit Istanbul again.

We moved to this hotel after spending one night in another hotel, where we were unhappy. Everything in the “Maywood” hotel was perfect, starting with the first day when Cagatay, the responsible of the day reception, welcomed us with a nice smile, explained us about the hotel, the city and the excursions, and till the last day , when I discovered that I am not on the list of the Turkish Airlines passengers to Paris. We stayed at the Maywood hotel for 4 nights..Hotel is really well situated,walking distance to all major sights..Breakfast is nice and rooms are comfortable..

I would definately recommend the Maywood. My partner and I stayed at the Maywood for 7 days in May and the staff were fabulous. Originally I was booked into the Sapphire and arrived early in the morning exhausted from the flight. The Sapphire staff told us we could book into the Maywood immediately. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough to help us and make our stay comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to everyone who's visiting Istanbul. Great location, excellent customer service, nice room and variety choices for breakfast. Worth every cent! Would definitely come back in the future.

My husband and I stayed at the Maywood Hotel for 6 days in May 2009 and had a fantastic visit. We had several "hiccups" in Istanbul that might have ruined the trip but the Maywood staff took care of everything for us. In particular, we would like to thank Cagtay who made our stay such a wonderful expereince. He sorted out a crooked cab driver for us and, after a late night of trying to find a particular restaraunt to no avail, also arranged for food to be delivered to us from a fantastic restaurant in the area. We - me, my wife and 8 years daughter- stayed in Maywood hotel from 11 to 20 April 2009. First good impression was from Airport timely pickup in good car. Charm welcome at reception with juice, turkish delights,detailed map and explanation for the area of the hotel and the services they can provide was impressive. Triple room size was very good, neat and clean, daily cleaning and preparation was very good and the cleaning ladies were friendly and cooperative. Stayed at the Maywood for one week in April and can say that this hotel provided excellent value, good service and is perfectly located in the the old city of istanbul.

We spent over a week at Maywood Hotel and felt at home from the start. Our room was lovely - comfortable bed, plenty of room, modern and spacious bathroom. Breakfast (included) was delicious, with lots of choices. The breakfast host, Vural, quickly became a friend as did Engin, the hotel owner. We've been to Maywood for 4 days. It is perfectly located, only a breath away of everything, ex Agia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Galata bridge. As it is brand new, it is perfectly clean and very well decorated. Breakfast is more than sufficient, and the personnel very helpful. Certainly we would go back!! Sofia
