Strongly recommend this hotel if you want to right in Kuta Beach. A walking distant to HRC & a great view of the sea

loved loved loved this hotel, only had one problem with the hotel and that was due to the construction that was taking place while we were there. You would think travelling with 5 teenagers (15-17) is a mission itself but the staff at this resort did everything possible to make our stay there stress free. On arrival we were upgraded to the best cottages in the resort, right next to the pool. Each cottage had a large plasma TV, plenty of storage space, in room safe, large 4post king bed with mossie nets. The ensuites are a good size and very clean and modern. My partner and I stayed at Kuta Seaview in Sept 09 and I have to say after reading some reviews I wasn't expecting much. However when we arrived, we were each handed a Lei and checked in to our room straight away with a welcome drink. The hotel was immaculate, we were upgraded to a seaview room - which was so clean and equipped with all new amenities - not to mention a plasma tv. we booked kuta seaview boutique resort and spa a month ago. at that time, most resorts were already fully booked because it's peak season. we were really disappointed with the resort. we got it at USD 133 but it wasn't worth the price that we paid. maybe because it's peak season, there's a muslim festival last September 21, the hari raya puasa. later, i found out from another forum that somebody got to stay there three years ago for only USD 50/night! another one was able to stay there at only USD 90 and she thought it was too... more

Ok where to begin, firstly this hotel is very nice and modern and all all renovation works are now complete on the hotel block (they were just finishing during our stay) so I could see how this will be a nuisance. Our room – deluxe sea view was very nice, clean, spacious enough with a nice balcony and sea view (and McDonald sign view!). I stayed at Kuta Seaview from 25-08-09 to 08-09-09 and came home singing its praises! It is the most central location out of any hotel in Kuta between both Poppies 1 and Poppies 2 with a beautiful view of the sunset on the beach. There were lots of great cheap restaurants and health spas close by as well as a short walk to the nightlife on Legian Street (however far enough away not to hear any noise). We have just arrived back from Bali from a 9 day stay.We booked the Kuta Seaview from the gorgeous photos on the internet site and the location as we wanted to be on the beach.The hotel is under construction at the moment with the rear end of the hotel fenced off to one side with the improvements being done.It is noisy during the day but you dont spend much time in your room anyway and it was over by dark. Stayed at Seaview from 24/05/2009 to 4/06/2009. Great holiday,the hotel is still undergoing renovations and so we were upgraded to superior Garden Cottage, we would definitely recommend this accommodation.Roomy and very clean,great staff and the restaurant was very good and the position right opposite Kuta beach and between Poppies1 and 2 was perfect.We did not think for the quality this was an expensive resort. The pool area was exceptional and we will definitely book here again.

The Kuta Seaview is a decent hotel with decent amenities in the rooms, but the hotel is ageing. It is right along the beach on Jalal Kuta right in all of the hubbub. Lots of shopping on Jalal Kuta and Poppy's Ln #1 and 2. If you get a superior room (3 rd floor) you get to view Bali's spectacular sunsets from your room deck.
