Golden Hotel

Very good hotel,surely above the average level for that price 20$ double occupancy.The price is for a budget but it's at least two stars level.Good location,friendly staff.Rooms has a/c and fan and toilet with bath tube.We hardly recommend even because for that price we found very bad alternatives.

Well, everything is relative. So compared to other properties I checked out Golden is a basic place but well run by friendly staff. The room was somewhat attractive, though the sheets were a bit on the thin side for my tastes. The AC works great as well as the free internet. You can find places a bit cheaper than this, but you will get a sterile room in comparison.

This was the only decent hotel I could find on the internet at a reasonable price. Upon arrival we were checked in quickly and we were helped up to the room, which was on the top floor. The room was nice and spacious (but it was the best room they had) and it had access to a HUGE external balcony which had comfy leather chairs and sea views that was only shared by one other room. I am their long term customer actually. I spend at least one weekend in every month in Nha Trang, and going always to Golden. the price is 20 USD, higher only in the peak season. under my experience there is two types of rooms, the street side rooms not newly renovated but still ok and they have balcony, while the other side rooms much better furnished, more quiet, however no balcony. We had stayed at Golden Hotel in 2006 and loved it but weren't as happy this time. The good points of Golden Hotel include the price, $35 for a triple room in peak season, the good size of the triple room and the location close to the Sailing Club and Cafe Louisane. What has changed since 2006. The rooms weren't as clean nor was the foyer cleaned as regularly. The staff have changed. The friendly helpful staff have been replaced by people who didn't go out of their way to smile and weren't as helpful.

We were moved to this hotel because our original hotel had overbooked and offered to pay for our stay at the Golden Hotel instead. Tired and hungry from a long train ride from Danang, we were welcomed by a nice man named Trung that night and he showed us to our room. Not a bad place. Stayed in Family suite (rm. 601) with a balcony and cranking cold air-conditioning (you WILL need it in Nha Trang in late April) for $45USD per night. Free breakfast, but it tasted fair at best. Beware with credit cards. A lot easier to pay with and deal with than ca$h, but the owners do NOT like taking credit cards. We arrived on the 12 hour bus from Hoi An and were greeted at 8am by a really friendly woman at reception. She handed us our room key, which we didn't expect as we had arrived so early. The room was an excellent 3 star standard. Bathroom was lovely with good power in the shower. Staff were always smiling and we booked the bus with them to Dalat. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Just stayed one night at this hotel but we were pleased. We walked in from the street and managed to get the last room. It was a pretty nice room and the staff were friendly. The room had all the usual stuff like tv, fridge and a/c. The bathroom was nice and a little bit larger than expected but there was no bathtub. Stayed in this hotel 3 nights in a family room (4) $35us/night on 22/4/2007. Recommended by Orchid Hotel Hoi An. Resonable location a couple of streets behind the main beach. Family Rooms large 2queens 1 single. Clean with Airconditioning and balcony.
