Hotel Alisei

We stayed at the hotel the week over New Years 2007-08, and were very pleased with our accommodations. The staff was efficient and friendly, the condo units very clean and pleasant, the grounds attractively maintained and very relaxing!

We first wanted to stay 3 nights, but at the end we spent 7 nights. We loved the place. Very new, but very intimate. Lovely villas and rooms with a great taste for the furniture. We liked to hang out by the villa, having lunch at the great terras and prepared in the lovely kitchen. Everything you needed was there. we met the owners and they are really nice and friendly people, like the rest of the staff. There are no other appartments of this level. Great value. Excellent place and staff. Apartment-style hotel. Spacious areas. Great location. Everything is working fine in the apartments (opened recently). TV sets in both rooms + an extra in the living room. The bech in front of the Alisei is fine but there are better spots very close (Las Ballenas area for example). Excellent food at the restaurant. Disco nights on weekends. If you are not in the dance mood the noise will not bother you inside your apartment. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The road to get there is a sandy-dusty road.... more

Great restaurant. Great staff. Smell of room can be improved. This hotel is far better the all the oter 5* all inclusive hotels

I stayed at the Hotel Alisei - May 5th - May 9th, 2007. It is a relatively new hotel built by Italian investors which opened in Nov. 2006. The hotel apartments are beautiful decorated with spacious rooms. First let me say that everything works at this hotel. Water pressure was strong and the hot water never ran out. My wife and I stayed here for a week in March and i couldn't fault the hotel in any way.The hotel is setup in an apartment style.The suites have a contemporary layout and are kept very clean. All the staff are very friendly and they made us feel very welcome in a family type way. The food was very nice in the restaurant, italian and seafood were the choice and a decent discount (30%) was given on the bill for guests at the hotel. it was fantastico! my daughter and my husband loved the pool, i loved the beach and the apartment. We will certainly go back.

My wife and I heard about this place through friends. When we arrived we were really happy with what we found; a beautiful boutique resort directly on a luscious beach. Sunset walks to die for! The on site restaurant served authentic Italian food made fresh with fish caught an hour before! And in the day you would see them preparing fresh pasta. The staff was attentive and courteous and they help arrange our quads (bikes) for us which were delivered to our door. I would highly recommend this spot and plan to come again every chance I get!

We visit Alisei Hotel and stayed for 12 days, a brandnew apart hotel with a perfect service, the restaurant was extremely good, to be honest, perfect. fresh fish, langoest. etc..They don't really have a menu but they only prepare fresh products. The location is very nice, on the beach and a walking distance from the centre of Las Terrenas.

Brand new, beautiful and spacious apart/hotel right on the beach. The staff is very well trained and always ready to help you. Because the bedrooms are airconditioned, you don't hear any outside noise so you sleep like a baby. The restaurant is outstading and we loved the manager, Graciano. His enthusiasm when serving your dinner is so contagious the it makes you want to come back again. There is entertainment almost every night (I guess this is during high season).
