JK Place Capri

On our bedside table was a copy of an article extracted from the magazine “Departures”. In it, there was a quote from the hotel’s decorator, Michele Bonan, which read: “Of course, décor is important, but with hotels what you really remember are things such as how you were treated and how well you slept”. My husband and I stayed at the JK Place Capri midway through our honeymoon and LOVED it. We stil can't stop talking about how incredible the entire experience was. I tell people it was like staying at our rich uncle's villa in Capri (if we had a rich uncle). The staff was incredibly warm and friendly - never intrusive. We stayed at the JK Capri for three nights at the end of our honeymoon. The place impressed us tremendously, particularly after we had bad experiences with famous hotels such as Il San Pietro in Positano and Palazzo Sasso in Ravello. My wife and I stayed at this beautiful and romatic hotel for an unforgettable week. The staff is not only professional, they are very friendly people with a smiling face giving a feeling that you are at a good friend's house. Lucio is very friendly too, helping the guest for any kind of help, from outside restaurant to luxury boat trip. WOW what a hotel! More like a family home but be warned you will need to make sure your wallet is very very full this place is not cheap! We were in a deluxe room but the sea view superiors are just as good so save your money! Also depending on what you want and like make sure you request were you want or don't want your room to be! Years from now they will be using JK Place in school textbooks as an example of how to treat guests. I am an experienced traveler ..have stayed at the finest hotels and have rarely experienced such genuine service from hotel staff...They truly are their to make sure your stay i as pleasant as possible...Management and owners must have spent a great deal of effort in finding the right people and treating them. We can only agree with the previous reviews! JK Place Capri is a marvellous place: everything - from the rooms to the service - is perfect. The seaview is just breathtaking. The breakfast on the outdoor terrace was a delight. There was no such thing that Lucio would not be able to advise you on or to organise for you (the private boat tour around the island is a must). From the moment I booked the hotel to our last hour, the service was the best part of our stay at the JK PLace. Lucio the concierge is a treasure - advising us on where to go for Pizza in Naples on our way to Capri as well as where to hike in Positano when we left. The very recently opened JK Place Capri is the sister hotel of JK Place Firenze (both owned by Ori Kafri) and it is an even more beautiful and ample property. Located at Capri's Marina Grande, overloking the sea, and just steps away from the island's funicular, we found it very conveniently located to reach Capri's attractions. We loved this hotel. They treated us as royalty as soon as we arrived and it did not change until after we checked out. They went out of the way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. It is a beautiful property with an AMAZING restaurant and wine selection.
