Hotel Cala'n Bosch

We've just returned from Hotel Cala n' Bosch after a week's holiday - we've had a great holiday, really relaxing and enjoyable. This is our third visit to Menorca and our 2nd visit to Cala n Bosch. We chose this hotel from Skytours brochure & checked reviews from trip advisor. We were a party of six - grandparents, parents and two children aged 8 & 11. Some of the reviews were less than complimentary but we returned on 5th June after a week's holiday having thoroughly enjoyed our first all-inclusive holiday. What an excellent holiday! This was our first abroad break with our 1 year old son and it was perfect. The hotel staff are so excellent and welcoming to babies and children. The rooms and hotel in general was spotless. We have been on numerous all inc hols all over the world and this was one of the best, with meat/fish cooked freshly by the chefs on front of you, you get the normal whinging from the typical 'brits abroad' who want english food but if want a healthy varied diet on your stay then this is great. We went to the Cala Bosch Hotel at Whit half term. The Hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. Absolutely brilliant location you could have asked for a better view from our balcony. As the package was all inclusive I was a bit dubious regarding the food being boring and repetitive, but proved wrong, there was something different on everyday for lunch and dinner, the food was hot and snacks available throughout the day. Returned 5th June 09. Fantastic resort with many bars and restaurants. Hotel situated on the beach, lovely views if you are lucky to have a bedroom overlooking the pool/ beach. Main pool not big enough for size of hotel, difficult to have a proper swim in. Kids pool around the other side, no parasols to shade your child from the hot weather, enquired about this and Rep adv not possible for the hotel to provide due to health and safety which I personally feel it a load of rubbish and the worst possible explanation! My wife and I stayed here during May half term 2009. The hotel was fine. Bathrooms had been recently refurbished (last 2 years at a guess) and the rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels provided when required. All staff speak very good English, I never saw a member of staff look fed up. The entertainment was good if that's your thing. It's not mine, but every time I walked past the animation team were giving it their all, so much energy! The food was brilliant, for all inclusive food, if you want ala carte book somewhere... more

just come back fom the hotel calan bosch . its fab we are a family of 3. food very nice Ramses is an all round entertainer. Helen the thomas cook rep is also fab bless her. going again next year.Cannot fault it best holiday weve ever had.

We went on this all inclusive 3 months after we had suffered 2 weeks at the hell hotel "club Mac" in alcudia and just wanted to reassure ourselves that it wasnt the all inclusive that was bad. And my word this hotel was everything we needed to reassure us. We stayed here in the later part of september 2007 and my son went with a fractured elbow and the staff were fantastic. this allinclusive is great loved the hotel the entertainment was top meet some good friends there its right next 2 the beach the food was very nice and the bar staff was very good only thing is only 2 lifts and there broke 1 day and had 2 walk all the way 2 the 5th floor but i dont mind cos only 28 but for older people mite not be so good would defo go back thank you calan bosch

October 2008...Not much to write about !!!!!!!!!! Too small a hotel for the amount of people ...... Food was ok but way to many FLIES in the restaurant ........Room was basic....The Beach was ok with nice white sands and clear blue water....... but not much else ........ The harbour had shops and bars ......but most closed in October (as was most of the Island)...... Hired car for 3 days (NOT THROUGH THE HOTEL REPS AS IT WAS EXPENSIVE).........not a great holiday and wont be going back........
