Hotel Eden Chamonix

We stayed in the Hotel Eden appartments for a week last summer. The appartment was clean and well equiped. They had travel cots which was a huge advantage to us. The staff are very friendly and the food in the restaurant was out of this world! Would def recommend this hotel to friends and family.

It can be very hard to find somewhere that suits a large group of family and friends (and dog) of very different ages, skiing abilities and interests who also want to spend time together. The Hotel Eden is the best place we've found at meeting all those needs. I had a great week at the Eden. Excellent food. Excellent hospitality. Excellent accommodation and excellent surroundings. A quiet location just a short walk from local bars, shops and golf course. Probably the most picturesque course I have played on. The couple I played with travel from Geneva every week to play this course. It's a reasonable walk into the lovely town of Chamonix which has everything you could wish for. Altogether I would recommend the Eden to anybody and everybody.

The Eden is well located for accessing all the Chamonix ski areas by car or by rail, but car is better. The Hotel has friendly and helpful staff, very clean and tidy. Restaurant prduces very high quality freshly cooked meals with creative and interesting menu, and good wine list. A relaxing and calm ambience is a strong feature of this charming and quiet professionally run hotel

Hotel Eden has almost the perfect location being close to one of Chamonix's main ski lifts and also next to the wonderful Golf course for the summer. The staff are friendly and helpful and ensure that this hotel has many regulars that come back year after year. For food lovers this is also a must with some of the best presented dishes i have ever had in a ski resort.

This is a reasonably basic but warm and friendly place to stay. There is no elevator but there IS a free lock-up garage which was great. Our room was pretty pokey, on the 1st floor on the side, and although we could see some nice hillsides from our window we also looked into a newly constructed chalet or something next door which is likely to be occupied in the near future, possibly compromising privacy. We had a terrific stay at the hotel eden in Chamonix, Les Praz, just outside of the main village of Chamonix. The hotel staff was super friendly and accomodating and went out of their way to make our weekend special (it was my husband's birthday, so this was especially appreciated). The restaurant is absolutely excellent. We did demi-pension one day and ate in Chamonix on another day. Just returned from a 5 day trip in Chamonix. On the recommendation of a friend we booked into a little Hotel in Les Praz , on the edge of Chamonix Village. The Hotel was in the middle of a little picturesque square. 2 mins from the Flegere ski lift, 30 seconds from the free train and bus. Really nice rooms with fridge and cooker, if you didn't feel like eating in the resturant. Great hot breakfast in the morning, didn't use the resturant in the evenings as the menu didn't appeal to my palette. The location was perfect for moving... more

We celebrated my daughter's birthday here. The dinner was wonderful and the staff great. We stopped in for a night and styed for three. We went on the tram ride, but one daughter stayed back. Even though it was out of the main town she easily walked into town and back. We liked everything about being there.

Clean, spacious rooms, with helpful, friendly staff. The true surprise however, was the outstanding dinner - the food was a true delight. We were a group of 19 people representing 10 countries, and everyone had only good comments about a true value for money experience. Happy to recommend.
