My wife and i have visited Greece in mid-June for 2 weeks. islands we have visited include Crete, Santorini and Mykonos. All these islands have their specific characters and are worth visiting. My best experience is in Santorini and I think Archouses contribute the most to it. The hotel is located on the cliff side of Imerovigli, having a breath-taking view of the sea and volcano. Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 4 nights in May of 2007 and absolutely loved it!! Flora, the property manager/owner, was very sweet and hospitable. she helped us out with many things. The room was very unique and accomodating. the view was like none other, it was gorgeous. we would definitely return and hope to....

The first impression I had of this hotel was how hard it was to find! We trudged up and down along the caldera with all of our luggage for 40min before finally finding the place! But the search was worth it as the views of the sunset were unbelievable. The owner, Flora, has done an excellent job decorating the rooms. She also strives to make the complex of 5 apartments a friendly place by introducing the neighbors and having occasional get-togethers. We looked hard to find the perfect spot in Santorini, and we found it in the Archouses. Our family of five stayed for four nights in early April 2007 and loved every bit of our stay. There are thousands of places to stay in Santorini with beautiful views, but none could be any better. Our apartment was in perfect condition and was decorated very tastefully to create great character. What a view!!!There is nothing else to say.. I and Gian,my boyfriend, stayed in the Stone apartment and we both found it one of the most romantic spaces ever..It has a bit little but very precious balcony,from where you can gaze Caldera and the volcano..It's amazing.. The interior is very well decorated by the architect and owner of the hotel,Flora,whom bytheway,is very friendly and helpful. We reccomend the period of September,as the island is more peaceful.

We stayed at Archouses last October... And must say the place is to fall in love with... We arrived at Santorini by ferry and rented a car, and went driving to Imerovigli where Archouses is located.. My new fiance' and I highly recommend ARCHouses in Imerovigli, Santorini. This hotel was designed and decorated by its owner, Flora Nastouli, and she has done a fantastic job. Every suite is unique and has amazing creative touches. I took a lot of photos of the interior to incorporate some of Flora's ideas into my own home. we absolutely loved our time at the Archouses.The views were the most spectacular we've ever seen.The appartments were so lovely,so well decorated and comfortable.Alex and i will never forget how nice and helpful was the stuff of the hotel.Our time there was really magical.We know we will defenately return there next time in Santorini.
