Nefeles Suites Hotel

We booked 1 night stay at the Nefeles Suites via the hotel website corresponding with the Managing Director by e-mail. As the hotel had 'a gap on 2nd to 3rd (July)noon for the Junior Suite' we were told we could have the room for the reduced price of 200euro. We accepted the offer & had the reservation of the Iera Junior Suite confirmed. We were collected from the port as arranged but when we arrived about 9pm at the hotel we were shown the Petit Suite. We absolutely loved our visit to Santorini!! It was an unbelievable visual feast!!! The views were exceptional no matter where you looked and the weather was almost perfect. We were a little worried about going in November because of the possibility of bad weather but that was not the case. My husband and I spent 3 nights at Nefeles Suites from the 7-10 July and it was all that we hoped and dreamed of. I was in Santorini from June 25 to June 30. This time, i chose to stay in 3 different hotels in Fira. After comprehensive research, i chose to stay at Nefeles Suites, Aria Suites and Homeric Poems. All 3 hotels are very nice for different reasons. During our honeymoon in Greece we stayed 5 nights in Santorini; 3 nights in Oia and 2 nigths in Fira. We paid roughly the same price for both suites, and I have to say that I was disappointed with the standard of the rooms in Nefeles. The view is great, no arguments there, but it is also very close to some of restaurants below which reduces the sense of privacy. My husband & I just returned from an all too short stay at the Nefeles Suites. We flew to Santorini at the end a a very long trek through the Middle East to rest a little before returning home. We stayed in suite #3, which we thoroughly enjoyed. There are three levels, the bottom has a jacuzzi tub with a view of the Caldera, the next is the sitting area with balcony, the top is the bedroom and a bathroom with shower. What a wonderful stay at this small hotel. The manager went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our visit to this island. He picked us up at the airport and later sat with us to tell us what we should see and where we should eat while on the island. The view from our balcony was spectacular. The sunset was beautiful. Breakfast was delivered to the place we wanted at our specified time. We could eat on the rooftop or in the breakfast room or in our own room. We booked through Fantasy travel of Greece (wonderful people to work with) and upgraded to Nefeles. This is IN TOWN and was still quiet!! You can close all windows at night and turn on the Air Conditioning. You are right by the cable car from the old port and the donkey trail. It was great to walk 2 minutes to dinner!!! The best thing about this place is the service, as noted, from Nikos. He hardly sleeps during peak season keeping you and the other 6 suites happy. We decided on Nefeles Suites after hours of research on Trip Advisor and the internet. If you are after a place in Fira rather than out of town so that you don't have to hike up and down too many steps then I thoroughly recommend Nefeles Suites. The service is amazing - Nikos collected us from the airport and took us to the hotel. All of our bags were carried to our door step. Had a wonderful stay with my son and three granddaughters. Our rooms were clean and comfortable; although, the upstairs bed rooms could use a seperate air conditioner. We were fortunate to have the top suites which meant we didn't have to walk up and down many steps. We all had a wonderful time. To a major extent this was due to the exceptional services of Nikos Pastalatzis.
