Hotel Delle Mimose

My husband and I have just had 8 nights stay full board at the hotel booked privately and not by a tour operator which makes a lot of difference to the cost. What good value for money - couldn't fault it. Rooms are clean, maid service daily, towels changed when you want them, good food (varied menu choices on all courses), pleasant staff, adequate size clean pool and nice comfortable sun beds. My sister and i stayed at the Delle Mimose hotel last May, it was my sisters first holiday abroad we found the holiday (travel and accommadation) acceptable and have booked again for this year (July) we cant wait!

april 2006 this is certainly not a 3 star, its dirty tatty. of 1960 era, food dreadful, balconies rusty and concrete chunks missing from underneath balcony. generally run- down. it urgently needs, money spending on it, the furniture needs to be put in skip. i would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We are just back from this hotel and were not very impressed by a great deal that happened The staff were good and all very helpful ,rooms were clean and towels changed every day BUT the downside was that there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which was basically very bare and constant smell from the toilet showers . I have just had my 3rd stay in the Mimoso in 2 years and on this occasion was quite suprised to see the improvements made on renovations and refurbihments . For the price at the time of the year we visited it was value for money, if we had wanted 5 star we would have booked and paid for it. After reading some of your reviews we were a bit apprehensive but having paid in advance we went thru with our holiday and once again enjoyed it . april must have been a bad month for the elle mimose because there were at least 15 people on the shearings trip very angry and dissappointed with their holiday. the food was awful the management rude, the service minimal the pool dirty and the rooms basic. if you are a british pensioner you may enjoy the british food and going to bed at midnight but if you are younger dont even think about staying here. we saw the management make up lies about a group of young ones to try and ban them from the bar even though they were of age and very... more

I just recently returned to America from a visit to Diano Marina, Italy. I am a Travel Agent -although the hotel did not know this ! I stayed at the Hotel Delle Mimose. I found the hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in a great location and excellent value for money. I will be bringing a group back to the hotel later this year. I think I have to say something about the hotel delle mimose in diano marina after reading the last review, true, the hotel is not a five stars hotel, but is confortable enough, the food is not bad at all, (even for some very nice italian guests we met there) we were disgusted by the behaviour of a family that I believe came from scotland, the three boys (which I don't think were of drinking age) drunk most nights, even playing football in the corridors at two in the morning!! having said that, I do believe the hotel need some... more

Stayed in March this year. Hotel is being refurbished. Our room had been refurbished, to a degree. There were bare wires in the bathroom luckily up a height becasue the shower tray wad not deep enough and when you showered the bathroom floor was soaked and this went nto bedroom. One morning it continued out the door and stopped short at the top of the stairs.
