Joecons Beach Resort

Joe Cons was reccomended to me by a friend, what a find. We like to stay in small family run hotels and it is just that. It opened in Nov 2009, the owner had Joe Cons Beach shack for a long time before then. The hotel is lovely, good size rooms and shower room with space to put all the things you need. My wife and I, with 2 friends, recently stayed at the Joecons for 12 nights. The hotel was busy; but not overfull. We were lucky enough to have superb weather and more than achieved our aim of getting away in Feb to relax in the sun. We found this little gem completely by accident. We were in fact staying at Zuri White Sands and was looking for somewhere for our holiday in November as we were a little disappointed in our hotel which seemed tired etc. and were recommended by another couple of people to have a look at Joecons Beach Resort. We stayed @ Jocons Beach resort in December 2009, and were thoroughly pleased with the accommodation and the service staff provided. All the rooms were fresh clean and you can make your own tea / coffee in your room, and rooms are provided with AC/Fans/fridge with large plasma screen with sky in every room. All rooms have balcony, looking out either to the garden or pool. Bathrooms have shower and executive room have baths too. we have just came back from a weeks stay at Joecons beach resort this Jan and would love to return! arrival: on arrival we were met by friendly and helpful staff despite it being late at night. We stayed 5 nights at this very new resort. It is lovely and well laid out. The pool is large and nicely cleaned. The rooms are modern and with all the things you care to have. They promise a hairdryer in every room, but there wasn't any. Restaurant is excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful. it is a 15-min walk to a great beach where the hotel has put up a nice beach shack serving drinks and lunch and providing sunbeds and beach towels. We stayed at Joecons new hotel for one week to take in New Year.From the moment we arrived, Michael , his GM Donald and their Team could not have done enough for us. We arrived at 4.45 a.m. yet our room was ready within the hour. Rooms are nicely appointed...lovely beds and pillows, nice bathrooms and each room with a balcony overlooking the stunning gardens and pool. We stayed at Joecons new hotel for 1 week from the 2nd January 2010 and had a lovely spacious suite. It had modern furniture and a large flat screen TV and was immaculately clean. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable The bathroom had a bath and a wet room style shower. It did lack a hairdryer in the bathroom but I was told I could have one on request. My only other very minor comment on the bathroom was that the toiletries could do with upgrading to a better quality with the addition of tissues and cotton wool etc.<br... more

Just back from 2 weeks - thought I'd write a quick review as not one on here. We had a lovely time, hotel was lovely - room very nice - brand new with nice TV (quite a few english channels), air con, fan, fridge, plush bathroom. The entertainment was nice singers and a BBQ held at the beach shack on a Wed - this was def worth doing - massive buffet - music and fireworks. Hotel was quite quiet would recommend to people who want a peaceful break however a short taxi drive away was the main town, hotel may have benefited from a bit more to do... more

Long established as one of the best restaurants in the whole of Goa, Joecons Garden is now complimented by the newly opened JOECONS BEACH RESORT which stands in the rear of the extensive grounds. Just 30 something rooms on 3 floors all face the pool and garden area, are well appointed and have modern quality furniture and fittings including flat screen TV.
