The best place ever for honeymooners, or couples in love, or anyone who wishes to have a piece of a private paradise! We got married beginning of July and my husband has tried with success to put me in a plane without letting me know, where we are landing… well after a long trip, towards the end of the day, we arrived at Dreams just in time for the famous (I found out later) Santorini sunset. We stayed in Dreams in July to celebrate a special birthday. My wife will not allow me to say which! The setting and hotel could not have been more perfect. The suites are magnificent. Traditional cave houses have been renovated and extended into the cliff to create wonderfully decorated and individual hotel suites. We stayed in Dreams in June. Having visited Santorini on a number of occasions, we had always wanted to stay on the Caldera, but had been put off by the frenzy and commercialism of Fira and Oia. Dreams, however, proved to be perfect. Close enough to Fira and Imerovigli, the Suites offer tranquility and exclusivity that is priceless. "Relaxing, private and quiet" My wife and I visited Greece 20 years ago, but never made it to the greek Islands. Some friends of ours took a cruise and stopped on Santorini. They showed us photos and said it was the most stunning Island they visited. They told us that we should go and stay on the caldera overlooking the volcano. Couldn’t have asked for better!! This place was the perfect choice our honeymoon. I’d been to Santorini the year before to organise our wedding and look at ideal hotels for the honeymoon. I had trekked high and low up many many stairs but strangely enough almost every place I saw was either overhyped and didn’t live up to their website grandeur or the staff were rude/dismissive/unpleasant. I searched for months for the perfect hotels in Santorini for our honeymoon, but I feared the hotel would not live up to the pictures, so we decided to stay at Dreams for 4 nights and another hotel for 2 nights. It is not really a hotel. They are just 4 suites with private pool or jacuzzi, a very practical kitcennette and breathtaking view of Santorini's volcano and the sea. The suites are traditional white houses dug in the rock since 1900! refurbished with many traditional details all with a private terrace with sunbeds and a table with chaires and a sofa for the breakfast. Dreams really do come true in this new luxury suite hotel located in the beautiful village of Imerovigli on the fantastic island of Santorini. The suite life is just perfect with spacious houses that have been newly refurbished. The bathrooms are sensational with glass tiles and stucco painting with gold overlay.
