Hotel Corallo

The Hotel caters mostly for escorted bus tours(Perillo, Insight etc..) the rooms these companies use don’t always have the best views, but a recently built a conservatory off the reception / bar area has magnificent views and is a nice place to sit and relax especially during the colder months of the year. My wife and I recently spent a night at the Corallo. It's a nice hotel but the need for maintainence is very visible. some guests had difficulty opening bathroom doors. The staff was not too accomodating. It's not on my recommend list.

We stayed at hotel Corallo first week of August 2006 and we can highly recommend this hotel. There are several large terraces overlooking the bay and the sunsets are amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are hardly any guests at the hotel since the majority of the hotel guests are tour guests with evening and daytime events organised. The hotel is outside Sorrento but there are pulic buses leaving outside the hotel every 20 minutes and the trip to town takes 5-10 minutes, walking distance 15-20 minutes.

We walked in to an amazing panoramic sea view from the lobby and bar lounge. There were two beautiful roof top gardens/ seating areas with views over the ocean. . Obviously rooms would have a great view - well most did but ours was downstairs and looked out onto the gardners store area. The room was huge - strange that a cupboard in the ensuite (unlocked) had previous guests receipts etc. Suspect it may have been a management room - reception denied it!!! Rest of the hotel was lovely.

I loved this hotel. If you can snag a room with a view overlooking the Bay of Naples, you will truly know you are on vacation. The hotel is very clean with a very nice dining room. We were with a group and our dinner was excellent. The management was eager to help with several of the requests I had. They could not have been more helpful. Beautiful hotel and beautiful location. Amazing hotel overlooking the water smack dab on the side of the cliff. I had a 1st floor room with a large balcony and it was great. We only ate breakfast here but that was very good. The rooms were clean and comfortable and well worth the view. I would definetly stay here again.

Stunning location and very nice hotel. Clean, average rooms, but as they say "location, location, location"! The hotel is in the side of a cliff overlooking the sea. Breath-taking views from our balcony that were best savored at sunset, especially the way the setting sun's light plays on the 19th century ruined mansion that sits out on the point, just beyond the hotel. I recently stayed at the Corallo and loved the view from this quaint hotel. The location is great and within walking distance to town, shops and restaurants. The top floor rooms are very small with only a tiny window so I would suggest a lower floor room with balcony doors and/or patio to really enjoy the fantastic views. The hotel food and service was very good. I stayed here with a tour group so I do not know if the rates are a good value but I would stay here again and recommend the Corallo.

I stayed at this hotel while on a tour, so I cannot comment on the value but I certainly can comment on the location....it is right on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean with the greatest multi-level terrace with tables and chairs for you to sit back and look out across to Naples. We stayed at the Corallo as part of a tour group and it was wonderful. The hotel itself is located about 1km from town which was not a problem for us as we had transport sorted out. Also, the hotel was very quiet at night. The views from the rooms were just breathtaking, with our room having a gorgeous balcony on which to spend the evenings. The hotel also has a large terrace and you can access the private beach under the cliff on which the hotel stands but unfortunately we did not have time. The rooms were clean and practical.... more
