Holiday Inn Pattaya

We stayed here four nights in late November 2009, and had a memorable stay. This was our first visit to Pattaya. The Holiday Inn is across the street from the main beach and convenient to all of the activities in the city. We were able to catch the Truck/Taxi which shuttles though the city area or walk to everything we wanted. The hotel is brand new, and Holiday Inn did a beautiful job in designing this hotel. Arrived here on 20th December (6 nights) at 9am to be told to come back at 3pm as our room was not ready could not believe the are full they have 26 floors!! and not what uou want to hear after travelling for 20 hours!! Anyway after that everything got better room was fantastic with view over the city, main pool on 4th floor area was lovely although they had 2 more pools. My partner and I stayed during the great introductory rate - fabulous value for money. Couldn't really fault the hotel - funky lobby, Havana bar is excellent, rooms of very good standard. In house spa a bit overpriced, but nevertheless great service.

We booked this hotel because of the good rates with the opening offer, and we have never been let down by the Holiday Inn brand. Was obviously concerned with the mixed reviews but put this down to opening teething problems. Was impressed with the style of the hotel and , though very busy, the check process was pretty quick. Had a long weekend at Holiday Inn and took advantage of Opening Special rate. + Rooms are good size, modern and bright. Recently stayed in this hotel for 7 days at the end of November 2009 - begining December 2009. Excellent hotel at a good location. Quite and serene and on the beach. Right in front of the hotel is the main beach road where you can hail a local "Baht Bus" to drive you to all the action for 10 bahts. Holiday Inn Pattaya I stayed only for one night in early December. The good: Location=> next to the beach: prime area and only cross the road to the beach. The view is spectacular (if not on Amari side). Service=> Staffs are professional and very friendly. terrible design of shower enclosure for a family stay.Glass back to the shower which seperates the shower from the living room.You pull a blind down from the outside of the shower to protect your modesty.kids love to pull up blinds when your in the shower.Aircon not very good.look wise superb and location.more staff training at front of desk and redesign that bathroom then would return.

Hotel is new and OK ..Internet wi-fi ..charges in the room are scandalous.. Costs a fortune to get...and connection is .11 ..yes point 11.....on speed test.. TV channels are pathetic...Why build such a nice hotel, and not want to please guests

Myself and my wife stayed for 2 nights on the second day of opening of this new hotel at the soft opening offer of Baht 2000 per night including tax and breakfast.
