Villa Marsili Hotel

Perfect location. Ideal for those people who prefer easy walking access to a small town and yet wish to see countryside. If you have front facing room, you see the beautiful countryside and yet behind you lies the town. Access to town is just a few mins walk up the hill. This is an excellent hotel! The staff are the best I have ever encountered from the cleaning staff to the hotel manager. They do everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are lovely and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast is great. The absolute best thing though is the staff. All the reviews raved about this hotel and we agree completely. The staff became friends and they couldn't do enough for us. Breakfasts were the best, but the afternoon & evening wine and biscotti were wonderful too. Our room looked out over the Tuscan countryside. A glorious experience.

From the moment of our arrival (actually before that when we were lost and kept calling Julia and Stefano at the desk for directions!) we were blown away by the beauty of the villa, but more so by the friendliness and welcoming attitudes of the staff!! We just came back my husband and I from Cortona were we spent 10 wonderful days. We spent 9 nights at Hotel Marsili and what an experience! Stefano and his team did everything to make all the guests feel at a friend's home and not at a hotel. I've just returned from a four night stay at Villa Marsili, Cortona and can say without a doubt, that this was by far the best hotel experience I've had in a long time! We recently spent one night at Villa Marsili. Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and pleasant to work with. I was even given language help; some key phrases that I asked about. The hotel is a lovely place with easy access to the old town at the top of the hill. Our corner room had windows on two sides, one with a view of the valley below and one of the hillside above the hotel. And the breakfast is to die-for! Everything was fresh and presented beautifully. One simply cannot go wrong at Villa Marsili.

This a wonderful hotel. A fabulous location overlooking the valley below Cortona, and a short stroll up to the main shopping streets and town square. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and clean. Julia at reception was so helpful and organised DHL to send a package from another location to us which is no easy task in Italy. I recommend them on every level

If you are traveling to Cortona you must stay at the Villa Marsili. We spend 5 wonderful nights here and it was the most memorable of our 3 weeks in Europe. What made it so special? The Staff! we felt that we were leaving friends at the end of our stay. They were so wonderful and helpful. The room was clean and looked over the courtyard.
