Isrotel Tel Aviv - Do Not Go There!!

We have 2 young children and the four of us shared a room for 5 days. The room was nicely furnished but the sofa-bed was a nightmare - you go on holiday to end up with chronic back-ache ! Almost all the staff were RUDE RUDE RUDE!! Unbelievable ! Starting from checking in, where the staff at the desk pretend for AGES that they haven't seen you waiting there. When they do end up putting the terribly important piece of paper to one side to see what you want, they look up at you and say "What?", no smile, eyes conveying to you that...

Aviod--No Air Conditioning!!!

We had ended a wonderful tour around Israel and needed to spend an extra night in Tel Aviv, Becuase we were a family of 4 and most rooms in Israel can't handle more than 2 people, the travel agent suggested the Isrotel which was listed as a suite hotel. First off, the taxi driver couldn't locate the front entrance for some reason it was closed off and they didn't post any signs to let us know where we should go!!
