Club Ilayda Apart

We went tp club ilayda for 1 week we r only back 1 day today and we went to try and book flights to go again in september,,it was absoloutly outstandingg,,staff were unbeleivably funny had a bit of craic with ya,,always smiling pulling out seats for you,asking if you would like r need anything,,and asking how are you everyday and if u r having a good time. there was something different in the hotel every night from snake shows to karoke to breakdancerss and turkish nights etc,,,we didnt leave the hotel once and we are 2 19 year oldgirls,,we... more

I have been on many holidays and stayed in many hotels/Apartments all over the world and never have i stayed in one like club Ilayda the staff are so friendly and willing to help with anything i went for a week and didn't want to come home i gotta give it to the manger of the restaurant "Kemal" it was because of him we enjoyed are stay so much he pointed us in the right direction for everything form our meals to the day trips he was really helpful and i would definitely go back but only if Kemal is still manger lol. but don't get me wrong... more

Stayed here for 11 nights and enjoyed every minute will be back in september.Go self catering the english breakfast is excellent for 5.99 lira.food and drink is only slightly higher than bars but is well presented and staff are very helpful.Joseph and Volcano are superb.We went out for a turkish night one night and it was rubbish,when we arrived back at the hotel the manager heard about it and let us join in theirs for free!Air con is expensive at £25 but this seems to be a trend in marmaris.All in all cant wait to go back

first time in turkey was a bit worried as we normally go canary islands, the hotel were absolutly fantastic the room was clean all the time great location fantastic pool and the bar and restraunt was top notch the food was lovely we ended up eating there most nights even though there was no pressure to do so the food was that good. as for the staff and managment they were freindly and funny we never stop laughing for the full fortnight we were there the entertainment and evening acts were great , and we would recommend the bbq they have the... more

We've just come back from a week's stay at the Club Ilayda, I was pretty nervous after seeing the reviews on here but I was really surprised. The hotel is lovely, very clean and bright, there aren't any lifts but we didn't care as we were on the first floor. Our room had twin beds, even though I was with my boyfriend it was fine, the rooms (we were self catering) were large - there was a separate lounge / kitchen area, bedroom and a bathroom. never ate in the restaurant at night, because we prefer to eat in the harbour, but breakfast was good. good pool and poolside area, clean and spacious room, although we paid slightly more for the bigger apartment. even though the apartment was overlooking the road to 2 sides there was surprisingly little noise at night.. this may change in the height of season.. self catering facilitlies were good (cooking for 4 was no problem) and we never felt under pressure to eat in restaurant if we didnt want to . constant hot water, no dramas all week,... more

was not looking forward to going to turkry or the hotel as it had a lot of bad press. but we were pleasently suprised the hotel staff were very nice and helpful our room was very clean and tidy, the sheets and towels were changed daily, the main pool was too noisey for us as they played very loud music all day, so we just went to the other pool which was nice and quiet and well shaded,we had a waiter called jack who was really lovely and very helpful, the only down side was the waiters by the main pool they payed more attention to the pretty... more

We had read quite a few reviews of this hotel and were told numerous stories from people who had already been to the hotel before we went in September 2009 for ten days. On arrival the reception staff were very freindly and helpful. We had a one bedroom apartment which was on the older part of the building which had not been renovated and believe me the rooms could be doing with a lick of paint. I had read a few negative reports about Club Ilayda before we went there in July this year and was 'on my guard' as it were as to exactly what we would find when we got there. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived, as our appartment was large, clean, had a pool view and air conditioning without any problems as promised. went to club ilayda first 2 weeks in july `09. great location, 5-10 mins walk to beach and main strip. great rooms, and staff all very pleasant although if you dont drink much you might be ignored now and then as your not spending. go self catering as half board is very repetative in turkey. Great Corner steak house just up the street is very good food and value for money. don`t go to Mistral restaurant near the pier they took us on and charged £50 for 1 fish between 2 people. this may not sound overly expensive but it is in Turkey as... more
