Flamingo Club

booked this hotel in january this year. after traveling from 4am arrived mid morning to be told the hotel had overbooked and we as well as other holiday makers had to go to thare other hotel in fanabe hotel los olivos. tell people in the area u are staying in the local toilet and they know u are staying in los olivas. the rep herself said the hotel would struggle to make a 2star hotel and the flamongo was worse. give both hotels a wide birth.

Booked these as an exchange through our Timeshare points system for family members and we were not dissapointed this complex is in the best location overlooking the beach with everything is on your doorstep such as bars restarauntes shops, Harbour etc etc Hotel Public areas i.e Pool, Bar, Gardens etc - one of the best weve stayed in all been modernised to a vey high standard with a fantastic view Rooms - Very spacious very clean slighty dated but still nice Staff - Very Friendly Would definetly return

i have a timeshare in the complex and have used it for 2 years now ,enjoyed the stay and the location beach right on the doorstep and the goerdie pride in porto colon makes briliant home cooked meals ,at a reasonable price als 2 euro a pint to go with it well worth a visit ! I now wish to sell it ,so if anybody is interested it is too big for us ,sleeps 6 persons 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms price for sale £1000.00 plus around 150.0 to 200 for change of ownership if interested tel 01253346261

Having booked this apartment through interval international we arrived and were given the key to studio 714. On opening the door it looked like something out of "Hi-de-hi" Decor at least twenty years old' kitchen worn out and a sofa bed which when pulled down revealed a biscuit for a mattress with springs showing through. When the sofa was down if the person on the inside needed the toilet they would have had to crawl over the other person. The location of the Flamingo is brilliant ! but reaching the apartment was awful, going down very dark , dirty sets of stairs to below ground, (we called it the dungeon) and did asked to be moved but got absolutly no where... but having said that the apartment was clean if old, the pool was great, the cafe around the pool was the best place for lunch time food, the staff were all really friendly. Nice location, rooms and facilities. Pool was nice, however food at the pool bar was awful! Reception staff were extremely rude and unhelpful! I asked one member of the reception staff where the nearest place I could change my money was, and I was merely grunted and was a given a vague describtion of where one may be! Hardly helpful! Jewellary was stolen from our room. Also my friend was very ill during the duration of the trip and reception staff had no real knowledege of where the nearest surgery/hospital was!!

Flamingo Club was a decent place to stay. When we first arrived, we worked with the staff to select a room, as the first rooms were in the basement portion of the hotel and did not have good circulation. They only have ceiling fans, which don't cool too well in the summer months, so get an extra fan from the front desk when you checkin. I booked this Holiday through Interval International. I arrived late and Reception of our family was awful. The room was infested with cockroaches and there was no air con. No hairdryers and no cleaning aids ie pot towel or cloths to clean. No remote for the tV. The room was cleaned 3 days after arrival and I had to ask for more towels. The complex is really nice but the only bar was the pool bar as the old bar was being refurbished. Great location but sadly lacking in atmosphere at night and reception were waful. club flamingo is in a great location with bars restaurants and shops close by. the swimming pool is gorgeous, it has all been done up recently with great attention to detail, we have stayed in 5 different rooms and they have all been really spacious and very clean, 3 rooms we have stayed in have even had 2 balconys! (all rooms have atleast 1 private balcony) i would recomend club flamingo to anyone, i love it! and it will only get better as they are doing up the whole place to a very high standard!!

We have just returned from a week at the Club Flamingo. The hotel is in a good central location with lots of bars and cafes in close proximity. The Flamingo itself doesn't have a Cafe on site but there is a Harleys Cafe / Bar within 25 metres of the front entrance (Hard Rock Cafe type) & it is good. The Pool and bathing area has been recently altered and is very good.
