i stayed at this hotel during third week of march 08.i think the hotel atmophere is pretty relaxing.two things i didnt like about the hotel is it does not have any things of interest/ play area for kids and secondly i found some areas like dining room had some bad smell at times. the food , service & swimming pool were all good.The HIGH point of my stay there was the kerala body massage i got done there it was really relaxing on the body. Soul vacation is a lovely place to relax and unwind if you have been travelling around Southern India. After 5 crazy weeks in Bangalore this was a wonderful place to chill out. The staff are very friendly and more than helpful, rooms are large and clean. I would desribe them as rustic rather than luxurious but comfortable. If you have mobility problems don't book an upstairs room as the stairs are quite steep. Food is served in a cafe style room and lots of people ate their meals on the outside tables. Well, We celebrated our 1st Marriage anniversary at Soul Vacation during 2 - 5 Feb 08. The hotel was very good as its nice to see everything in white. Very much peacefull indeed. The hotel is close to colva beach and has nice courteus staff. The hotel room was pretty good. Nice and Spacious and definately worth 4 star. Food in the hotel is great but they need to add more dishes suiting indian & vegeterian people. They have focused more on foreigners taste of food. We have stayed in the hotel for four days. First, we were disappointed about our room, which was one of the smallest in the hotel and with a dump smell and not very clean. After two days we could change the room to a bigger one, which was much brighter. (But also here - not worth 4-stars) Everything in the resort is a little bit old and for my opinion it's rather a 2- or 3-star-hotel than a 4-star-boutique hotel. By Indian standards this is a lovely hotel. It's billed as a 'boutique hotel' and it's certainly this. It lacks some of the sophistication of other boutique hotels and is a little 'tired' in places, overall though it's a charming hotel, which i'd certainly not hesitate to recommend. I have just returned from a trip to Soul Vacation, and to be honest I was surprised that this resort has gained the rating it has done.. First the positive elements about this resort: I found the general ambience of the resort to be relaxing. All the waiting staff around the restaurant and bar area are good- attentive and polite.. and the pool area is a really nice place to chill out (although the pool looked a little dirty). Rooms were clean and staff was always helpfull. Everything worked out excellent. Worth four stars. Food was delicious and coctails at the bar by funny Ashouk were perfect. These were the best four days of our trip to India. Silence and relaxing.. Beautiful place with the best staff ..

A beautiful resort. Obviously created by a team of designers, Soul is a very chic place. It was exactly what we were looking for after a few crazy weeks in Delhi and Punjab. No noise, no activities, just peace and tranquility. It is small (only 28 rooms), service is good, personal attention is good, Ashok at the bar is great. The continental food was very good. We stayed at Soul Vacation for the first 4 nights of our 2 week stay in Goa and enjoyed every minute! Colva itself isn't that great - compared to some beaches/ areas of Goa, but the hotel made our stay there quite special. It was tastefully and simply decorated throughout, with spacious clean rooms and incredibly helpful and polite staff. The food at the hotel was delicious and the pool was very peaceful and relaxing.
