LA Hotel & Resort

We have made many visits to this hotel, and always been pleased with the service, cleanliness and food. to say the staff gave the best possible service is an understatement. we almost regard them as family. (in fact they treat us as family)

The hotel is in an ideal position with its own private beach including loungers and umbrellas. It is on the other side of the main road but there is a subway to the beach. However, it is at the end of the "strip" and local supermarkets only have limited produce but this was improving nearer the end of our stay. When we visited the majority of the clientele were OAP's but younger people with families were staying towards the end. We stayed for only two days wish we could have stayed longer.Our room was spacious and clean.The hotel beach and beachside pool and bar is the best we have been to in Cyprus and is natural and sandy with plenty of sun beds.The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs allways with a smile. Excelent value for money.During our short stay we spoke to other guests some of whom had been returning for the last ten years! We will ourselves be returning.

This is the third visit to this wonderfully friendly hotel. I cannot reccomend it highly enough to anyone wishing for a sunsoaked relaxing holiday in the hands of some excellant staff. The three pools are a delight with the added bonus of probably the larest Jaccuzi in the world which overlooks the private hotel beach. The place is always clean and tidy, and the food is super. we have just got back after 1 week in the hotel, the staff are all friendly and the welcome is warm. You have a choice of swimming pools or you can choose the beach, whichever you choose you can relax unwind and enjoy ! There are a few local bars if you want to stray from the hotel or its a dolmus ride to get into kyrenia to visit the harbour and castle. We look forward to returning next year for another great time.

In the last three years, my family and I have always had the pleasure of staying in this hotel. it has a warm family atmosphere and a traditional approach to welcoming its visitors. The management, staff and service are very good and generous in their readiness to help make you feel at home away from home. The facilities include two swimming pools and a private beach. The hotel is very conveniently located for reaching Kyrenia- bus service to the town approximately every 5-10 minutes. Also, the hotel has a great location for exploring the northern coast by car which is well worth it. The hotel has a beautiful private sandy beach and two large outdoor swimming pools suitable for swimming. The staff and the management at the hotel are very friendly and extremely helpful. l july 2008.la hotel lapta kyrenia northern cyprus eileen gallant lovely hotel and facilities.very friendly and loyal staff. manager and wife always on hand if any problems. very qiet area but plenty of choice for eating out with use of car or taxi. easy bus service into kyrenia. private beach a bonus and two outdoor pools. if any criticism is that the food could be improved,not the quality bit the choice is limited. we will visit again.

We were there for only seven days and agree with 90% of what was said in the previous review having met the cuple involved, we booked 8 weeks before and got a 10% discount with Cyprus Paradise 'early summer break' and used this to get a pool view rooom , I am glad we did as this afforded late afternoon sun, although the pool was a little away from the balcony it was very pleasent. Have just returned from a 10 day holiday at the LA Hotel 6 miles outside Kyrenia and all in all it was a very pleasent holiday WE booked with Cyprus Paradise and flew out of Stansted no probem flights on time no entertanment and night flight times are not the best but its all we could get at the time of booking. The L A is what I woukd say is a good 3 star hotel only let down by 2 things the worst wsa its evening meal which out of 10 we only had 2 but eating out wsa so cheap it was not a problem for us more about this later The rooms... more
