This hotel is brilliant. Cannot fault the food, staff and entertainment. Room was good but because we were on the ground floor we suffered cockroaches. Not nice!
The hotel is right next to the bus stop which is wonderful for getting around. Is a long walk to the actual centre of the resort (about 20 mins) and down lots of steps!
The hotel is very tropical and beautiful-it has over 600 types of plants in it's grounds and even a waterfall. The Internet terminal is good value. There were people at the hotel who had been going there for years.
The resort itself is full of German and Spanish people, hardly any English.
Make sure you go for a camel ride in Maspalomas. We also visited Ocean Park (small but good fun + cheaper), Aquasur (Recently modernised) and Aqualand (Biggest and lots of different rides). We were advised not to go on the Submarine Adventure because you do not see anything!
We have exhausted all activities in Gran Canaria but if we hadn't, then we would certainly return here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here in February for 4 days, we were very impressed, it is a beautiful hotel in tropical gardens, it was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. It was my boyfriend's birthday while we were there and the hotel left a bottle of cava in our room to wish him happy birthday, which we thought was such a lovely gesture. The food was really lovely, plenty of choice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other people and would go back again.
