Nice accommodation, shame about the lack of life
from sallymarch
Four of us stayed in a three bed, three bath apartment from 6th January for a week's sunshine break. The apartment was certainly well equipped. The master bedroom had a bath room and a separate double shower (with, bizarrely, two showers in it!) and two vanity units with basins. The bed was extremely comfortable. The 2nd bedroom had twin beds and a bath with shower over and was perfectly adequate, as was the 3rd bedroom. As always with marriott properties, the kitchen was well equipped with all the pots, pans, dishes and glasses one...

great!
from marriot*rules
all i can say is this was the most amazing hotel, we had everything we needed in our apartment and the supermarket was only a short drive away. The pools were fantastic for us especially the childrens pool which the lifeguards were very friendly and kind. the beach i must admit was abit stony but overall i had a great week of fun and sun and i would recommend it to anyone!
Enjoyed our stay
from Julian & Sue
We stayed at the resort in May 2006 with the possibility of buying a time share. The apartment was excellent and the poolside located right next to the beach was ideal. Although there was some construction work going on it did not cause any problems. If we had a young family we would have certainly considered purchasing at this resort as the future of the complex looks very good. However for us it was slightly disappointing as there was no restaurant on site and the car was essential to get to others in the area. Also as a previous...

Wonderful Resort
from ynguy
As an MVCI owner I stayed at this resort for the first time. Yes you definitely need a car but that is not surprising if you want to do something outside the resort. It is a bit irritating that you have to exit the N340 several km. after the resort in order to go over the bridge, turn around and drive back to the resort. This area is a whole new development and still looks well...new. The check in was efficient and friendly. The appartments are great although not as big as the ones at the Marbella resort and admittedly I am...

Nice but beach not great
from PaulsReview
Nice place except for the beach which is full of large rocks. Also the resort is a little hard to find you need a car.
Great Resort!!
from TravelingGardener
We traded our Marriott timeshare in the States for this resort. It was wonderful!! You will really need to have a car to get around the area and driving here can be a challenge, but well worth all your efforts. The property is absolutely beautiful - We were in the Cadiz building - on the top floor overlooking the pool and Mediterranean. The sun rises late here - after 8AM in early Sept and sets after 9PM in the evening - so it's very conducive to sleeping in. Every unit appears to have a balcony facing the sea and you see them used...

Out of this world
from meishar
Stayed at this hotel for a week at the end of June 06. The accommodation was out of this world. 4 adults staying in a 2 bedroom apartment with excellent facilities. Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, iron and ironing board, full oven/hob & hood, large fridge/freezer, cupboards full of wine glasses, glasses, mugs, cutlery and all plates and bowl. The living area has a large queen size sofa bed which is comfortable and 2 other comfortable one seater chairs. Patio doors onto the balcony with table and chairs. Large...

Nice but lifeless
from gborland
We stayed here for a week in August. The rooms are wonderful - spacious, well equipped, comfortable and immaculately cleaned and maintained. The pools are nice, and the resort shop is fine. The problem here is twofold: 1. The complex is just off the road between Estepona and Puerto Banus, without actually being within walking distance of either of said towns, so it feels a bit "lost". There are a few restaurants beside the road, but there's no nearby town or village you can walk to. You should only come here if you're prepared to...

Now even better
from andyallen69
Just returned from the Marriott Playa Anadaluza and the standards are as high as ever. Yes there is building work going on but seldom noticeable. The good news is that on Saturday 15 July the two new swimming pools opened. One for activities and general swimming, the other an excellent childrens pool. This is zero entry one end with features such as water cannons and fountains, the other end is a large water shute. We left late on Saturday but the children lovesd their day in the new pool. There is still no restaurant on site and the...

Great family holiday resort
from listen2oasis
Just returned from Playa Andaluza during Half Term. Firstly must admit that I am a Marriott Owner and actually own at this Resort so I may be a little biased, however I think I can be objective enough to give a fair review. That said can only recommend this Resort to anyone who wants a relaxing, easy break in the sun. The villas are wonderful with every thing you need to make your stay comfortable, they are spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and they are like home from home. Each day there is a towel change and quick clean, there is a...
