The Palms Hotel

As this guest wishes to remain anonymous we actually wonder who he is? We note the date of February 13 when the review was written this means that the guest would have either stayed the previous week, Friday 11 or Saturday 12th. The Palms Hotel was closed over the winter period and did not reopen until Friday 11th of February; all our guests who had traveled a long way did not leave till 14th February. The guest who has complained invited 4 friends back to his room at 3am in the morning, after a night's drinking. They decided to carry on partying, playing music loudly, shouting etc. They woke up most of the other guests staying in our small hotel. They wouldn't open the door or talk to me. Eventually I opened the door with our pass key. There were Four people in the room, music was turned off and they asked me what the problem was. I asked how many people were staying in the room, they told me only two. I explained to the guest that they were disturbing the other guests and would they please keep the noise down and that he had booked a single room and that we did not expect more than one person to be sleeping in it. In the morning I saw 5 people leave the room. Cigarette butts and drink bottles littered the room. It is a non smoking room. As we did not subsequently receive an apology, explanation or assurance that it would not happen again, the guest was asked to leave.
