Relax Inn Hotel

My Friend and I booked a cheap holiday to Malta for a week. I was slightly nervous after reading reviews about the Relax Inn Hotel, however i was pleasantly suprised! It was brilliant! It is a small family run hotel. It is in a superb locating, just a couple minutes from the square and within 2 mins of a bus stop. The staff were all friendly and coulnd't do enough for us. I went to this hotel in july 2006. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to us the tv facilities which was very kind, also letting us have access to the full film collection available in the hotel with no extra charge. I agree the food wasnt the best and could have been better. The rooms were nice and clean, and met reasonable standards. The pool area was also kept clean but needs modernising. Overall had an enjoyable stay at the Relax Inn and would recommend it in the future.

If you think the Relax hotel is the worse in Malta then you've obviously not been to the palm court hotel. The Relax inn hotel is not 5 * but then you wouldn't expect it to be concidering the price. We have stayed many times and while I do agree that it's not the best for kids ( not much too do ) I think that it is good value for money. We were also moved to this hotel after refusing to stay at the Palm court Hotel and compared to that hotel ...the Relax Inn is like the Hilton. I stayed in this 'hotel' in March 2006. Like many Maltese hotels, it is right on the pavement but also, unfortunately, on the main southbound road around Bugibba. You won't notice that if you look at a map as you can't see the one-way system. It was also opposite several pubs and restaurants which caused a lot of noise late at night, as did the new guests arriving at 4.a.m. directly under the windows of the front rooms. We can not fault the location, it was perfect to get to everywhere. Very close to the Square which contained numerous places to eat including a Pizza Hut! The bus stop was very close and could get you where ever you might want to go. The hotel itself seemed clean, we had a maid in everyday with clean towels. All staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. this hostel is no hotel, the beds are a chipboard base with an old mattress on.the shower/bath has numerous rust marks covered in paint, if you are floor 3 or below your balcony looks onto walls and ventilation fans.the pool area(about 2.5x2.5 mts) is dirty and the fencing unsafe and the builders buiding the notel next door have a nice view.If you pay half board you have to pay for anything to be cooked for your breakfast otherwise ham cheese slices, tinned peaches and bread.evening menu - liver hake or a tomato ommelete.the restaraunt is in... more

the hotel was great, staff were polite and friendly! food was fantasic if there wasnt someting u likeed the cheif was always keen to suit your needs! havin been 2 malta before and knowin what its normally like in malta i was very pleased with the cleaniness, rooms were cleaned daily! close to al the local bars,shops and resutrants and not to far from the bus station! would go here again!

We moved to this hotel after moving from the revolting palmcourt hotel when we first arrived to the relax inn staff were superb with us they shown us the hotel and all it facilities, pool and bar with hundereds of dvds to watch definitly worth the money and the location is right next to the square (bars and resturaunts etc...)

Small run family hotel.lovely clean rooms well furnished.air con,sat tv roof top splash pool cleaned daily. we went on an all inclusive basis and the food was lovely. in a good location close to shops , bus routes,etc great value for money.
