Relaxing Stay
Just came back from a 4 night break. We took the children and booked 2 rooms interconnecting. From the moment we arrived we all felt very welcome and the kids loved every minute of their stay. Staff were very friendly and it was great to have use of the free creche. Would highly recommend.
First Class
Stayed her with my family weekend 10th February. Everything about the hotel was first class, from the excellent staff at check-in and concierge to the helpful staff at the Leisure pool and bar. The Hotel that weekend appeared to be catering for families enjoying a mid-term break to couples of all ages. The Hotel has excellent leisure facilites for both the very energetic and for those who perhaps just want a leisurely stroll. Only two small criticisms, we left breakfast quite late and it was therfore very busy, so go a... more
Beautiful hotel, beautiful setting, very helpful and friendly staff
I treated my wife to a weekend (Friday and Saturday night) at Slaley Hall as a birthday present. WOW!!!! If you want to be treated as Royalty then this is the place to go to. The food is amazing for choice and quality. We had a New Hall Junior Suite. which was very clean and welcoming. I had booked us both into the Spa. When we got there, there were several members of staff down and were unable to give us all the treatments we had booked. The staff were absolulely brilliant and gave my wife a birthday present as an apology. If you do... more
Top hotel, Top service
I stayed at hotel in January. I could write many good things about my stay but I shall keep it short and to the point. The hotel was excellent and so were the staff. I would recommend this hotel to anybody.
Lovely, relaxing weekend break
We stayed here for one night at the beginning of January as a birthday treat and were certainly not disappointed. We made the most of the leisure facilities (pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gym, golf) and the surroundings of the hotel were breathtaking. The room was excellent, playstation, TV etc and the bed was a really good size. We had dinner in the hotel and were initailly concerned at what the prices would be but they offer a very good 4 course meal for £25 a head which was excellent. The only thing we felt was very expensive was the... more
Fantastic!
New Years Eve. We wanted a change from the normal hussle and bussle of crowded pubs and clubs and with a babysitter in hand we booked a night away at Slaley Hall. We reserved a "Junior Suite King Bed" which was fantastic. Spacious rooms with antique style decor above the courtyard. Jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Use of bathrobes and slippers. En-suite. Air conditioning. Free selected Satellite TV. Pay TV / movies. Tea and coffee making facilities. Minibar/ fridge (unstocked).. Hairdryer. Iron and ironing board. Trouser press.... more
Very relaxing
We went to Slaley Hall for a weekend break. The reception staff were extremely polite and our deluxe room was lovely and overlooked the golf course. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, as was dinner and the restaurant staff were very efficient and friendly. Our only criticism was that the pool was freezing, and there are not many loungers around the pool. But if you can get in the jacuzzi it's well worth it. Overall a lovely hotel and we would definately stay again.
A fantastic experience!!
I stayed at Slaley Hall on a Friday night. I had taken my girl friend away to propose to her and needed a hotel that would live up to the occasion. After a good (and long) look on the internet I decided as soon as I saw Slaley Hall to book it (after a quick check here of course). I booked a junior sweet on a DBB rate with a celebration pack add on. It wasn't cheap but it was worth every penny! The hotel is magnificent, truly breath taking. The suite was massive! It was also clean, tastefully decorated and with great views of the golf... more
Fantastic
We have just returned from a one night stay at the De Vere Slaley Hall and must say we absolutely loved the hotel. As one would expect from a De Vere it was spotlessly clean and elegantly decorated. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was very spacious. Within half an hour of checking in we had a courtesy call checking everything was to our satisfaction. We ate in the Golf Clubhouse which was fine but if I went again I would probably book in advance of arrival to get the time slot of my choice, and eat in the... more
