I said YES!!! (-:
from OykuAnkara
It was a wonderful holiday and the hotel was the right choice! John Pelidis, the owner of the hotel, is very kindful. First day he picked us from the port by his car. Hotel has three sweety rooms. We stayed at Raimondo and it was very very nice and romantic. All rooms had good furnitures and new. There was no limit for breakfast. You could eat whenever you wake up. You should stay in the old town and rent a car 1-2 days for sightseeing all around Rhodes and its beaches, especially Lindos Bay. Hotel Zacosta's location is perfect because...

Setting was quiet & comfortable but highlight was the John's neverending hospitality and congeniality!"
from GenghisKhanVancouver
John Pelidis is even better than what the rave reviews imply. He personally picked us up from dockside. When our departure plans were dashed with flight cancellations, John made alternate boat arrangements and drove us to the gangplank. His hotel in the old city has three darling suites looking onto a private courtyard where we shared extraordinary breakfasts with fellow travellers. John accessed schedules, provided maps, and gave us great advice on sites to visit and exceptional places to dine (fish houses). His work experience in New...

King and queen for a week at Zacosta Villa
from Stevinci
My wife still talks about the wonderful breakfast that John (hotel owner) served us each morning in the lovely courtyard. Due to the time of our arrival, we were upgraded to the suite - a beautiful room. The location was great - off a side street so quiet. We loved being within the old town. Read "The Knights of Rhodes" if you want an overview of the town and a brief history of the Knights and life in Rhodes under their control. I gave John a copy for his library. Choosing to stay at Zacosta Villa helped make our trip very special,...

Perfect place to stay in Rhodes Old Town
from Powerhouse100
We stayed at Zacosta for 7 nights and enjoyed every moment. The owner and host, John, is such a nice guy and makes you feel relaxed and very much at home. As it happened we had booked the Giardino room, which was the cheaper of the three rooms available, but as it was the end of season and we were the only guests at the time, John gave us a free upgrade to the Suite. You cannot go wrong with either of the three rooms, but the Suite has that extra touch of luxury and is more spacious. We were looking for a boutique style Hotel...

Gorgeous Property, Gracious Host
from NMTraveler505
I have a huge "bucket list" of places around the world that I want to explore, but the Zacosta Villa Hotel so exceeded my expectations that I would keep returning to Rhodes just to stay there again and again. Yes, the rooms are elegant (the website photos are quite accurate), and the location ideal in that while it's a short walk off busy streets in the medieval city, the courtyard is tranquil and the rooms are perfectly quiet. True, you find affordable luxury that's not easily available for this price in Europe (king-sized beds, two...

I dream about the Zacosta...
from Phaestos
Staying at the Zacosta was a treat. The owner (John) is so nice and helpful and made us feel so comfortable. He was helpful in every way possible and made a huge and delicious breakfast for us in the mornings in the beautiful courtyard. The rooms were spacious and classic, yet featured brand new amenities (great hot tub in the suite). To boot, the location could not be better. We stayed here for three nights and wandered around Old Town and other parts of Rhodes for the trip. The Zacosta was within the castle walls and close to everything....

Amazing hotel in an amazing city
from Nossos
The Zacosta Villa Hotel is a must stay if you are going to see the Old City in Rhodes. The hotel has been recently restored and is located within the castle walls of the Old City. The hotel only has 3 rooms which makes the hotel quiet and quite charming. There is a beautiful courtyard to have breakfast each morning (which the owner, John, prepares) or to just relax after a long day. Everything in your room is new and of the highest quality (air-conditioning, tub with jets, flat screen TV, et cetera). John is extremely helpful for...

Zacosta Villa Hotel, Rhodes
from wloky
Fantastic endearing hotel set in a quiet part of Old Town but not too far from the restaurants and main shopping areas. Beautifully restored by John from the previous state it was in. The courtyard itself was a lovely setting and the Suite itself was very comfortable to stay in, especially after spending the days roaming around Rhodes. John (owner) was so helpful during our stay and looked after us very well. On hand to deal with any queries you may have regarding your stay. We had the place to ourselves for most of the week which added...

Magical hotel in Rhodes Old Town
from Artemis_of_London
Perfect setting in Rhodes Old Town. Peaceful, luxurious, spotless, select small hotel (only 3 rooms). Charming courtyard where we ate a substantial and delicious breakfast every morning and sipped wine in the evening. Friendly host, John, who speaks perfect English (we think he may be half American). No staff are on the premises except when preparing breakfast or cleaning so it's very much a home from home. We were there at the very beginning of April and had the place completely to ourselves - perfect. For the technophiles, there is...

from Diagoras68
Last month was in Rhodes on business and decided to stay a couple of extra days and make a weekend of it. Stayed at the Zacosta in the Old Town. A recently restored traditional building it was luxurious and tastefully done.Very comfortable beds, great bathroom facilities and a filling breakfast. The courtyard is excellent to sit around in the evening. The host John very friendly and was on hand to help with any questions about Rhodes etc. Look forward to visiting in the summer.
