Floridiana Hotel

Our stay at the Floridiana was perfect in every way. Agness and staff were very kind, helpful and made us feel like we were staying with good friends. My husband and I travel a lot and I don't think we've ever stayed in a hotel where the people have made us feel so welcome. The location of the hotel is great, very central but off the main street, very close to the Duomo and town square. We had a lovely large, very clean room with a nice little balcony. We booked The Hotel Floridiana after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. I am a sceptical person and could not believe all the excellent reviews that this hotel had received, but when we arrived we could see exactly why it had such a reputation. The staff were amazing. There was a real warmth from everyone who works at this hotel, which consists of four people. Agnese and Maria-Rosa could not do enough for us during our two week stay. Small hotel, but everything was top-drawer.. The rooms were fine and quiet. The breakfasts were also good and the breakfast room is quite lovely.The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located just off the main street in Amalfi and close to everything. Still, it is set back in such a way that you can't hear the noise of the street. the hotel was excellent!!! the staff are all efficient and friendly, and eager to help. clean, comfortable, and location perfect, less than 1 minute walk from the duomo, 5 minutes walk from the arrival point of the long distance bus from sorrento. the only setback is probably the stairs to reach the entrance, but giovanna, one of agnese's staff, helped us all the way to the street, with incredible smile. during our stay there, we visited positano, ravello and conca del mare. many of my friends in italy suggested the stays... more

The Floridiana was fantastic!!! A quaint charming hotel located just steps away from the shops & restaurants of the main piazza of the town of Amalfi, the room size was spacious with cathedral ceilings, very good AC & hot water, comfortable beds, new furnishings, windows & doors, room #1 has a small balcony which overlooks the main & very narrow street which cuts up through the village. Look no further. If you planning a holiday or just a visit to Amalfi you will be very hard pushed to beat the small hotel Floridiana. I have just returned from the Floridiana after a five-day stay and can I say my wife and I enjoyed the stay from the moment we checked in to the moment we departed . This small quaint hotel was absolutely incredible! The staff/owner was fabulous. We stayed in the 2 story room with the upstairs sitting room/patio---incredible. The breakfast was wonderful--we would love to stay here again.

Very nice, charming, small (seven rooms) hotel off the main square (and a bit hard to find) in Amalfi. Staff and especially the manager (Agnese Marino) were very accommodating, helping us with luggage and providing tourist/restaurant information. Free garage is included. If you have a car, recommend you leave it in the garage and either take frequent busses or water taxis to Ravello, Positano, and other locations on the beautiful Amalfi Coast.

I cannot say enough nice things about this little gem of a hotel. The manager and staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, and made us feel welcome every moment of our stay. The hotel is charming, tucked up some steps off the main square next to the town's beautiful cathedral, minutes away from every necessity. We did not have a car and felt absolutely no need for one.

Hotel Floridiana is tucked away just off the main square in Amalfi. We were driving, so the parking proved rather daunting to begin with! The Hotel issued a 'parking permit', that allowed us to drive through the main square (past all the 'no entry' signs). Although the directions seemed a little 'odd' they all made perfect sense and parking the car was no problem at all.
